Terrible News!

Unfortunately, Princess Zuo, a young woman in her early thirties, lost her life due to her ex-boyfriend's actions. From what we know, the two saw each other at a popular venue around SKD boulevard junction where he had asked to speak with her. However, his intention was to rekindle their toxic relationship.

Witnesses reported that when Princess firmly refused, he became furious and even stabbed his own sister in the arm before turning on Princess.
She suffered multiple stab wounds to her stomach, neck, and back. Despite the efforts of other attendees at the entertainment center, she could not be saved and was pronounced dead. The perpetrator is currently under police custody.

We will not rest until we reach every place where our constituents live in District Five of Margibi County. As our town to town tour continues en route to Borlala in Gibi District, we want to take this opportunity to thank the wonderful people of our dear Gibi District for their support during the last election.

Addressing dozens of citizens, CEO Jonathan Sahr Cooper spoke these words with patriotism

"Even if we didn't come out victorious, we are really grateful for the number of votes we received." He added: “During our tour, we had the privilege of meeting and interacting with many of you, and it was truly an enriching experience. We have heard your concerns and hopes for the future and we are committed to working to make them a reality. Regardless of the outcome, we are proud of the positive campaign we have run and would like to thank everyone who contributed, from our dedicated volunteers to our loyal supporters. Your contributions have been essential in helping us spread our message and reach as many people as possible. As we move forward, we will continue to work to make our county a better place for everyone.” He concluded by saying, “Your support and trust mean a lot to us and we will always be grateful.” Once again, thank you for being an integral part of our journey. Let’s continue to work together and make our district the best it can be.”

Our citizens were touched by these kind words from the CEO of the Jonathan Sahr Cooper's Foundation
They applauded him for employing more citizens through his high school, radio station, farm, and security company that he is one of the supervisors that employs his citizens. They were happy with his impact on the education of others in various institutions in and out of Liberia.

Most importantly, the citizens said it was “strange to them to see a politician turn to them and thank them for their vote, even though the people who they voted for didn’t even do what he is doing.”

The tour team will visit more towns in the Gibi region this week, impacting lives at the same time.

Speaker HonCllr J Fonati Koffa sends a sharp rebuttal to Vice President Jeremiah kpan Koung

Lies, twisted lies and distortions

"I listened to the distorted and inaccurate comments made by Vice President Koung on Spoon TV few minutes ago.
At no time did I negotiate with the Vice President nor the President to resign.
My position is and has always been let's return to legislative normalcy by 1) removing the illegal suspensions 2) restoring the rightful committee heads 3) returning to chambers and discussing all matters including their complaints in session.

The VP asked for white ballot for Richard Koon, passage of the budget, and discussion of committee after a new speaker.
I rejected all that.
We came to no agreement, and the next day, the minister of justice gave the opinion on the court ruling, which was written for him.

But the most telling thing is that the Vice President's appearance and inappropriate comments on a radio talked show exposed his hand as the principal mastermind of the whole unconstitutional saga.

I remain firm on the side of the law.
The executive can continue to ignore the rule of law, but I will not waver. Thanks."

A perspective; the way we see it.

Nathaniel Beyan Koboi writes:

From the town to town and village to village tour that have been embarked by the CEO of the Jonathan Sahr Cooper's Foundation we have understood to believe that effective listening enhance our quality of being a leader? CEO Cooper is a charismatic true leader. He is a person who works in the interest of people, listen to them, and shows genuine concern.

The people we trust as our leaders are the ones we believe understand our needs. When we bring our concerns to them, and they listen and take actions to improve things, our trust in them grows. The more credible is the leader, the more powerful they become.

If you are in a leadership position, value other people’s opinions, address their concerns, and listen to what they need. You can turn their opinions into ideas and their concerns into areas for improvement so that you can work towards making changes that will improve their lives. This is what we have seen so far from the leadership of Hon. Jonathan Sahr Cooper. He is an uncommon leader with many positive thoughts.
A few hours from now he will be on the Borlala road today to renew lost hope. Thanks to him and his entourage for bringing essence into existence.

A few hours ago the CEO of Jonathan Sahr Cooper's Foundation had a mouthwatering breakfast within the Methodist community in Weala. While at that scene he never ceased to amaze us by helping those in need whenever our people come to him. The CEO has mandated to be extending his helping hand to this lady seen below of whatever things she may need. In so doing a token of cash was giving and cement to renovate her home.

We send in this beautiful poem to our leader and teacher as he keeps exhibiting a class act of generosity.

With a heart of gold and a mind so brilliant,
Trying to make the world right. A patriot at heart,
Your love for your country shines brightly,

This kindness of yours and generosity are so constant,

In his gentle spirit, our hearts are set free,

A shining star, a guiding star,
Thank you, CEO Cooper, for all that you do,
A hero, a friend, always loyal. As we sing this poem in your honor,
May your legacy continue to shine,
A patriot who explored the mind,
A humanitarian, so gentle and modest, that we will never forget him.
