HEY, TEAM BINTU MASSALAY! OPEN YOUR EYES AND PAY ATTENTION!

Something is unfolding right before your eyes, but many of you have not taken the time to look at the bigger picture. And trust me, this is not the first time we have seen this kind of political game. Some of the same old political actors you know from day one are preparing for another round of battles.

Now, look at Boima Kondo's decision to contest in Electoral District #1. The question is: Is this just an ordinary political decision, or could there be a bigger strategy behind it?

Remember 2023, when Hussein Seimavula challenged Hon. Bintu Massalay's eligibility before the Supreme Court? The Court dismissed the challenge on the ground that Seimavula lacked standing because he was not a candidate.

Fast-forward to 2029. If Boima Kondo becomes a candidate, could that open the door for another legal challenge against Hon. Bintu Massalay's nomination to stop her from contesting? The same old team planning. That is the question Team Bintu should be thinking about right now.

Politics is not always about who can win an election. Sometimes, the bigger game is about who can prevent an opponent from getting on the ballot in the first place.

And if a legal challenge fails to stop her from contesting, they will use political tension to make the place ungovernable with chaos.

Team Bintu, don't wait until the game reaches your doorstep before you start paying attention. Study the moves, understand the possible strategies, strengthen your legal preparedness, and remain politically organized.

Nobody knows exactly how 2029 will unfold, but one thing is certain: the closer we get to the election, the more carefully every political move must be examined.

TEAM VICTOR WATSON DEMANDS CAUCUS ELECTION NOW!

Since 2024, Grand Cape Mount County Legislative Caucus has operated under an acting leadership arrangement without conducting internal elections. For over two years, Senator Simeon B. Taylor has continued as Acting Caucus Chairperson without a fresh electoral mandate from his colleagues.

Is this democratic leadership, or an indefinite hold on power?

How can our lawmakers preach democracy, transparency, and accountability to the public when their own caucus has yet to settle its leadership through the ballot box?

Meanwhile, Cape Mount continues to face serious development challenges, including poor roads, struggling schools, and concerns about the timely disbursement of County and Social Development Funds. The people deserve a caucus that prioritizes development, effective legislative oversight, and accountability.

OUR DEMAND IS SIMPLE:

Team Victor Watson for Senate 2029 calls on the Grand Cape Mount County Legislative Caucus to end the prolonged acting leadership arrangement and conduct transparent, democratic elections as the Legislature resumes its third and final quarter.

We call on the youth, elders, women's groups, and concerned citizens to demand accountability.

Senator Taylor is in bed with Bea Mountain, which is looting Cape Mount’s resources. To him, the collective interests of the county do not matter as much as his personal interests. All he cares about is what he can get from Bea Mountain to enrich himself.

He takes money from Bea Mountain to build mansions while people in the affected communities continue to live in deplorable conditions.

In all honesty, Bea Mountain is not the problem; Senator Simeon Taylor is, as he harasses the company to finance his luxurious lifestyle that includes building his private retirement mansions and flashy cars.

No good schools. No scholarships for the county’s young people. No good hospital in the area.
