In a statement on Friday April 11,2025, the Grand Bassa County Police Commander William Johnson called on residents to assist in locating Wilson and announced a reward of 5,000 Liberian dollars for any credible information leading to his arrest.

Prince Wilson, known in the streets as "ERU," is reportedly linked to multiple incidents, though the police did not disclose specific charges at this time. His nickname has sparked fear in certain communities due to his alleged past encounters with law enforcement.
Residents are advised not to approach Wilson if seen, but instead to immediately contact the nearest police station.
Johnson further explained that ERU is a terrible criminal who has committed several crimes ranging from robbery, theft amongst others. ERU was among 24 pre-trial detainees who were set free by the 2nd Judicial Circuit Court on Monday November 11, 2024.
During their release, the Resident Judge of the Circuit Court Joe S. Barkon said that detainees overstayed in prison without trial, something he says was a violation against the detainees human right.
He sited Section 18.2 of the Criminal Procedure Law of Liberia, which mandates timely trials for detainees.
Commander Johnson said since the release of the notorious criminal, Buchanan City has been under threat with everyone pointing accusing fingers at Prince Wilson (ERU).
As the manhunt intensifies, police have promised to ensure the safety and confidentiality of any informants.
