It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we, the Mass Communication Student Association-AMEU, pay tribute to our esteemed lecturer, Mr. Amos S. Siebo Jr., who departed from us and will be buried today. Mr. Siebo was more than a lecturer; he was a mentor, an inspiration, and a guiding light to all of us who had the privilege of learning under his tutelage.
Mr. Siebo was renowned for his eloquence, profound research skills, unwavering commitment, and extensive experience. His teachings were not mere lectures; they were journeys that expanded our minds and perspectives. He had a unique ability to make complex concepts accessible and engaging, sparking a passion for learning and critical thinking in every student he encountered.
We fondly remember his favorite phrase during tests: "open your library and do your test.β This simple yet profound directive encouraged us to utilize our notes and resources, fostering an environment of open learning and intellectual growth. Mr. Siebo's innovative teaching methods and encouraging words left an indelible mark on our academic lives.
The void left by Mr. Siebo's passing is deeply felt within the Department of Mass Communication. His dedication to his students and his unique style of teaching have created a legacy that will be cherished and remembered by all who knew him. His absence creates a vacuum that will be difficult to fill, and he will be profoundly missed.
As we mourn the loss of a remarkable educator and an exceptional human being, we extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. Mr. Siebo's spirit will live on in the hearts and minds of his students, and his contributions to our academic community will never be forgotten.
Rest in peace, Mr. Amos S. Siebo Jr. You will always be remembered and cherished.
