Grand Cape Mount County has been thrown into turmoil after citizens discovered a hidden airstrip deep in the jungle, allegedly built by Bea Mountain Mining Company. The airstrip, which many believe is being used to secretly extract Liberia’s natural resources without accountability, has raised serious questions about government oversight and complicity.

Residents are furious that despite years of exploitation, the county has yet to see even 10% of the promised development funds. Instead, they watch as their land and resources are stripped away, while poverty and underdevelopment remain their daily reality.

“The government knows exactly what is happening. They allowed Bea Mountain to rob this country in broad daylight,” one angry citizen stated.

The revelation has amplified frustrations that Liberia’s leaders are more aligned with foreign companies than with the people they were elected to serve. To many, this is not just about an airstrip — it is another painful reminder of how the state has failed to protect its citizens and their future.

It has been reported that during the Unity Party government, starting with former President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Finance Minister Augustine Kpehe Ngafuan misappropriated 5 million dollars in the second year of President Joseph N. Boakai's administration. Additionally, Minister Ngafuan allegedly misused 2.8 million dollars without providing an explanation. The General Auditing Commission (GAC) indicates that this amount disappeared from the consolidated account, and there are no proper documents provided by the Minister of Finance to account for it.

This news is shocking and raises questions about why the president, who often asks government officials to resign or dismisses them, has not taken action against Minister Ngafuan. This situation calls into question the integrity of the minister, especially considering that such a significant amount of money remains unaccounted for. The president's credibility is at stake, particularly since he has not addressed the issue of Liberian citizens' funds. Speculation has arisen that he is planning to renovate two major buildings in Monrovia.

Where is the funding for these renovations coming from? Just as Ellen Johnson Sirleaf is associated with Bea Mountain, so too is Joseph Boakai connected to the Finance Minister.

📀💿African Counties that speaks Broken English(pidgin), from the simplest to understand to the most difficult:

1. Nigeria
2. Ghana
3. Cameroon
4. Sierra Leone
5. Liberia

Nigerian pidgin English is almost like pure English language, It's very easy to understand, and records shows, even Europeans can easily understand and speak it.

Ghana, not too difficult but with some slangs that warrant mostly Ghanaians to understand.

Cameroon and Sierra Leone are almost thesame, and if you're not from either one of them, you won't be able to differentiate.

Liberia, considered the most difficult pidgin English in Africa, in most cases, you won't understand them when listening for the first time.
