Those purporting to be GMC and Methodist Church illegally occupying United Methodist Church properties suffered another setback and big legal blow. The case in point is with the Duahzon United Methodist Church. Circuit Court judge in Kataka ruled in favor of the UMC during a petition of summary judgment ( this is a suit that a dissatisfied party filed to review the action of a lower court judge to the upper court) ordering the magistrate to resume jurisdiction and proceed in the case. It can be recalled, Rev. Fiske and Dr. Ruldoph Bropleh and few members illegally took possession of Duahzon UMC and illegally changed the name to Duahzon Methodist Church. A church they have to historical ties to. After a couple of weeks trial the magistrate ordered them not to worship in the building anymore because it was UMC property and the case is ongoing. They ran to the circuit court and took the magistrate complaint. After, hearing from both sides the circuit judge ruled that the magistrate made no error.
