President Boakai Inspects Specialized Training of Police Officers Assigned to Presidential Convoy Motorbikes

July 16, 2025

Executive Mansion, Monrovia – President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, paid an unannounced visit to the James Spriggs Payne Airfield in Monrovia to inspect the ongoing training of officers selected for the presidential motorbike es**rt unit.

The training exercise is part of a broader effort to enhance the professionalism, mobility, and efficiency of the Liberia National Police (LNP), particularly those entrusted with the specialized responsibility of es**rting and securing the presidential motorcade.

During the visit, President Boakai interacted with the officers and instructors, expressing appreciation for their commitment and discipline. He emphasized the importance of safety, precision, and professionalism in the ex*****on of their duties, particularly given the high-security demands associated with protecting the Head of State and other dignitaries.

“The security of this nation and the dignity of our institutions depend not just on infrastructure but on well-trained, motivated, and disciplined personnel,” the President stated, adding, “This investment in training is an investment in national pride and public trust.”

The selected officers are undergoing rigorous practical and theoretical training, focusing on convoy riding techniques, rapid response maneuvers, crowd control, and high-risk navigation. The training also includes vehicle maintenance, ethics, and coordination with other security agencies.

Inspector General of Police, Col. Gregory Coleman, who accompanied the President during the visit, expressed gratitude for the President’s interest and direct involvement in security sector development. He noted that the training of the motorbike es**rt unit is being carried out in accordance with international best practices

Joseph Boakai Jr, son of UP Standard Bearer Joseph N. Boakai has resigned from the Liberia Maritime Authority in a bid to support the campaign of his father.

Former Vice President Jospeh N Boakai is the leading opposition figure in Liberia and the Standard bearer of the immediate former ruling Unity Party.

Boakai Jr. served the Cooperate affairs department of the LMA prior to his resignation.

He told an OK FM interview that it is time he resigned from the institution to get actively involved with his Dad's campaign if called upon.

Here is a pictures of a lady struggling from the same situation. The doctors had to flush her eyes four times to get the glue off. If not, she would have possibly gone blind.

An Iranian Man Nickname the 'dirtiest man I'n the World" for living in fifth and not washing for decades has died at the age 94yr state Media reported on Tuesday.
Amou Haji, who didn't not wash for more than half a century, died on Sunday in the Village of Dejgah in the southern province of Fars, IRAN News agency reported.

These beautifully preserved bronze statues in Italy are believed to be about 2,300 years old - dating back to ancient Roman times.

They were discovered in the muddy ruins of an ancient bathhouse about 160km (100 miles) north of the capital, Rome. It's thought they were submerged in thermal water in some sort of ritual, which is why they're still in such amazing condition.

Over ten persons have been made homeless as a result of fire disaster in the Mandingo quarter community, Kakata city Margibi County.

The fire incident occurred at about 5:30 am early morning when occupants of the house who are believed to be Muslims went at the mosque for prayer.

According to the fire victims, they all left the house and went for their usual morning prayers when their six bedroom house gutted by fire.

They narrated that due to their absence the fire burnt all of their properties to aches.
Though there were no death occurrence, but the victims expressed serious disappointment over the incident terming it as a total set back.

For her part, the chairperson of the community, Emily Gwee condemns the constant fire incident in Kakata and called on the Liberian Electricity Cooperation to deploy taskforce in Kakata in order to regulate illegal connections.
Mother Gwee said she believes that most of the fire outbreak in Kakata is the result of the illegal LEC connections by unprofessional people.
She at the same time launched an SOS call to stakeholders in the county to come to the aid of the fire victims.
The chairlady said the fire outbreak is a serious setback to the families and it needs rapid respond.

Russian forces are pounding the city of Lysychansk and its surroundings in an all-out attempt to seize the last stronghold of resistance in eastern Ukraine's Luhansk province, the governor said Saturday.
Ukrainian fighters have spent weeks trying to defend the city and to keep it from falling to Russia, as neighboring Sievierodonetsk did a week ago. The Russian Defense Ministry said its forces took control of an oil refinery on Lysychansk's edge in recent days, but Luhansk Governor Serhiy Haidai reported that fighting for the facility continued.
