ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Samuelyn Ministries
Samuelyn Wilson, born on July 11, 2003, in Paynesville, Liberia, is a prominent Liberian gospel singer and songwriter. She is the daughter of Bishop Samuel K. Wilson and the late Amelia C. Wilson, and the youngest of four siblings. Her musical journey began at the age of nine in her father's church, Mount Zion New Life Apostolic Church, where she transitioned from the children's choir to the adult choir.
A graduate of Mount Zion Christian Academy in Paynesville, Samuelyn has been active in the music industry since 2019. She has covered songs like "How Great Thou Art" and "What Kind of God," and released her debut single on July 11, 2021. Her first album, "His Lordship," launched on April 8, 2022, features eight tracks, including the popular "Have Your Way" and "Leh Me Here."
In 2024, Samuelyn achieved significant recognition by receiving multiple awards and nominations. She was honored as the most awarded Liberian gospel musician and earned three nominations at the MTN Liberia Music Awards (MLMA) 2024.
Beyond her music career, Samuelyn is known for her humanitarian efforts and maintains an active presence on social media platforms, including Facebook, YouTube, and X (formerly Twitter).
Indeed this young lady is a blessing to Liberia and the world at large.
