UNDER YOUR FEET
TEXT: "And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. " Romans 16:20.

You are not on the same level with the devil. By virtue of redemption, the devil's position is under your feet. And God has given you the power to tread on serpents and scorpions and all over the power of the enemy (who is the devil) and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19. You exercise the power given unto you by treading on, and to tread on in this context means to "crush or press something with your feet" and that is the devil. Why then are several believers victims of the devil when they have been exalted above him? The simple answer to that is lack of knowledge. Many have ignorantly given the devil positions even higher than themselves due to their fear of him. In their words and actions, they exaggerate the power of the devil and instead of treading on him, they allow him get out and get up to them oppressing them with all sorts of afflictions.
What position is the devil right now in your life? Is he in his rightful position under your feet and you are exercising dominion and. treading on him and all under him? There is dominion on your feet, when you walk with the consciousness of who you are in Christ and where the devil is, you are always a victor. As our anchor text spelt out, God will bruise satan, but only when he is in his defeated position under your feet. So always ensure the devil remains there.
My Father, my Father as I pray now, I place the devil where he belongs under my feet.

REST IN THE LORD
TEXT: "And to you who are troubled rest with us..»2 Thessalonians 1:7A

Child of God, trouble is not peculiar to you, it is part of the human life. We all experience / it, but when it comes, rest in the Lord.
Jesus says to you, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls." Matthew 11:28-29.
Learn how to rest! You are no longer your own. You have been bought with a price. Jesus said, "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you". John 15:16. God has done a work in your life, and it's His responsibility to see you through, so rest in Him. "For in him we live, and move, and have our being" Acts 17:28.
In our anchor text, Apostle Paul says 'Rest with us', trying to let you know that you are not the only one troubled, they too 'are troubled but they are resting in the Lord, so come over and rest with them. So if you are a child of God, you must learn how to react to trouble to let the devil know who you are that you have the wherewithal to put the devil where he belongs... under your feet. The devil can't touch you from within, he makes trouble for you using outside forces just as he did in Mark 4:35-39, using a great storm of wind against Jesus and His disciples. And as Jesus did, you need to learn how to face the devil and his trouble-making efforts and react to them scripturally. Then you will be more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus.

My Father, my Father, as I pray, let the ability to rest in You come alive in me by fire.

LORD! USE MY SHIP/
TEXT: "And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship. "Luke 5:3.

It is a great privilege for the Lord to be in need of that which is in your possession. In the preceding verses of our anchor text, the people pressed on Jesus to hear the word of God and He needed a boat with which to do that.
Peter's ship was not the only ship there but Jesus entered that of Peter and that was the beginning of the change of his story to/glory, from nobody to somebody, from nonentity to celebrity. The same Peter who caught nothing despite his professionalism in fishery, had a net breaking testimony which extended to others. Scripture puts it thus, "And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink."
Luke 5:6-7.
Listen, there is nothing you give for the Lord's use that is not multiplied unto you. Peter came in a ship to catch fish and his expectation of fishes has a limit of the size of his ship, hence he came with one. But when he released it for the Master's use, He multiplied the quantities of the fish beyond Peter's maximum size of his ship to two full load of ships thereby increasing Peter's level to desiring a more ships. Child of God, cry out to the Lord to use your ship and change your story. Your ship may be that money in your hand, that bus He asked you to release for evangelism, that talent and skill of yours, that strength and time of yours etc. The Lord cannot use it and you remain the same.
Prayer
Oh Lord! Use my ship and change my story.

GIFTED! NOT STRANDED!
TEXT: "A man's git maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men. " Proverbs 18:16.

A gifted man is not a stranded man if he knows his worth and willing to maximize it _to the glory of God. He may be a servant today, but that is a master tomorrow. He may be an employee today, don't look down on him, that is an employer of labour tomorrow.
Learn to value and appreciate people's gift and celebrate the grace of God upon them. Everyone has his uniqueness, there is a special touch of divinity on individuals to stand them out of the crowd where God has empowered them to be. Don't frustrate the gift of a man because you have the platform today. Allow people express themselves and grow to perfection. A gifted man is not a stranded man, with the grace of God upon him, his gift will make the desert a fruitful land.
Saul was not sensitive to keep David, a gifted and talented young man in the palace; that would have meant more victories for him.
The fact that the battles were won during his reign would have been honour for him, but he chose to listen to external voices and judged David differently thereby becoming an enemy to the man who would have lifted up his reign on the throne. You may say such vacuum will be filled shortly. That is true, but there are counsellors and there are Ahitophels, there are Elisha(s) and there are Gehazi(s), there are Reubens and there are Josephs, there are Abels and there are Cains, there are Joshuas and there are Achans, there are good and faithful men, Philips, Stephens, Barnabas, Silas, Aquila and Priscilla, Tychicus, Epuphroditus, Epaphras, Onesimus etc. and there are Alexander the coppersmith who do people much evil and Demas who eventually forsakes you.
May the Lord to whom everything is naked and bare guard your discretion.

Just me, God, His house, and a heart full of gratitude. 🕊️

There is something about being in the place where God’s presence dwells—it resets your spirit, renews your strength, and reminds you that God is still in control.
