RE:// LETTER OF RESIGNATION

Hon. Chairman:

Permit me to congratulate you on your preferment as acting chairman of the once powerful peopleโ€™s party, the CDC.
I bring to your attention my thoughtful intent to officially resign as a member of the party. This resignation is against the background that I find it completely disingenuous to cohabit and coexist in an organization where thieves, national resources looters and murderers of our people exist.

When I joined the CDC in 2008, my impression was that it was a national movement for the people with a focus to facilitate the national agenda to transform the lives of our people and country. Neither did I realize those objectives were only on the manuscript of the partyโ€™s platform but was never intended to be implemented. We all hailed George Weah at the time as being a patriot due to his performance on the field of play in football.

None of us thought that the very patriot we once knew on the football pitch would turn out to be a national embarrassment and commodities thief of our people. Many of our people today live in penury and unacceptable way of lives because of the selfish intent of Weah and his cronies to imprison them under the canopy of a popular peopleโ€™s movement. Weah like his cohorts are fraud and only come to harvest on the blood and sweat of our people. This behavior cannot continue to triumph in this country and therefore to share the same breathing space with such a classic con artist is troubling to my soul.

Therefore, I write to officially leave the party as I embark on another mission to ensure that never again this bigot of a man and his cronies rise to power in this country.

Thanks

Dr. Lester Zomatic Tenny, PhD.

Mayor Jefferson Koijee pendown โœ๏ธโœ๏ธโœ๏ธ

The party (CDC) is putting together its legal team in defense of the injustices and mass murdering of peaceful citizens across the country.

The LDEA murdering of a young man and the LEC power theft team carrying out same act will not be condoned.

The Kinjor massacre by Mr. Boakai who is yet to say a word about these murders because death means nothing to him.

Mr. Boakai has a commitment to seeing people murdered so he remains completely unbothered with all the happenings.

We are coming!

For Immediate Release

President Boakai Leaves for Cรดte dโ€™Ivoire on Thursday

March 6, 2024

Executive Mansion, Monrovia: His Excellency, President Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr., will lead a high-power government delegation on Thursday, March 7, 2024, to Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire, for a one-day state visit.

During the visit, President Boakai and his Ivorian counterpart, President Alassane Ouattara, will hold discussions regarding a range of issues centered on Liberia-Cote d'Ivoire relations. The focus will be on matters related to the Liberia-Cote d'Ivoire Framework Agreement, electricity, agriculture, and regional security.

This visit takes place as the West African Subregion is experiencing growing security tension due to terrorist activities and military takeovers.

The President's itinerary in Cote d'Ivoire will cover visits to establishments such as TRANSCO CSLG and the National Center for Agronomical Research, with the aim of fostering knowledge exchange, skill-sharing, and technological cooperation between the two nations.

The Liberian Leader is also set to participate in the Liberia-Cote d'Ivoire Joint Commission Meeting which will bring together several high-ranking officials from both governments to review significant issues, including strengthening the longstanding ties of friendship and cooperation.

The Liberia-Cote d'Ivoire Joint Commission Meeting was initiated in 1972 to promote peace, security, and economic integration, free movement of people, exchange of ideas, goods, and services, and form a common front in alleviating some of the many developmental challenges faced by both countries.

Liberia and Cote d'Ivoire share a long history characterized by cohabitation, intermarriages, trade, cultural exchanges, and deep-rooted friendship before and after that neighboring countryโ€™s independence in 1961.

Accompanying the President on his trip are sector-specific government officials, including Foreign Minister Sarah Beysolow-Nyanti, Finance and Development Planning Minister Boima S. Kamara, Agriculture Minister J. Alexander Nuetah, Senior Economic Advisor to the President Morley Paul Kamara, and Liberia Electricity Managing Director Monie R. Captan.

Other members of the delegation include Acting Chief of Protocol Antoinette Wolo, Presidential Press Secretary Kula B.N. Fofana, and Executive Assistant to the President Morie Yuade Nemah. In President Boakai's absence, the Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Honorable Sylvester Grigsby, will chair the Cabinet in close consultation with the Vice President, while the President remains in contact via telephone.

The President has officially informed the Legislature of his departure from the country.
