An outbreak of a new virus, Nipah virus has been confirmed in West Bengal, India. Some of the people infected are regular citizens, while others are healthcare workers who may have caught the virus in hospitals.

Nipah is a virus that can spread from animals through fruit bats and also pigs to humans. It can also spread between people through close contact. There is no specific medicine or vaccine to cure it yet. Symptoms can start with fever and breathing problems and, in severe cases, can cause swelling of the brain.

The virus can be deadly, with reported death rates as high as 75%.

Because of the outbreak, some Asian countries have brought back health checks at airports and border crossings. Health experts are asking people to stay alert, follow safety measures, and help stop the virus from spreading further.

According to a Liberian-based Nigerian artist, Kjr Sweet, his management paid MLMA Artist of the Year King Dennis USD 700 for a verse on his song “Booty” and also to help promote the song by posting about it when it drops.

Unfortunately, since recording the song, King Dennis hasn’t shown any interest in it. He didn’t post about it or even say anything about it, in fact, he refused to be part of the song promotional video and requested for the guy management to buy him outfit and carry car to pick him up.
