Senator Konneh says President Boakai is fighting a two-front war against drugs

Senator Amara Konneh writes:

"Our President and Commander-In-Chief is actively fighting the war on drugs on two fronts: fighting the cartel and dealing with his own top security officials, whom he depends on to fight the cartel.

When the leading anti-drug chief recuses himself instead of facing immediate dismissal and criminal charges over a cartel bribery scandal, it clearly reflects a lack of accountability and represents a strategic retreat—choosing a voluntary recusal over a dishonorable firing and a quick corruption indictment. This is not fair to our President.

We fully support our President in this two-front war and urge him not to let his advisors hold him hostage. He should move beyond superficial optics and be the CIC to flush out all enemies in this battle against illicit drugs, a serious national security threat. This was his campaign promise. We will wait and see what he does on Monday when the 48 hours are up.

One thing that is worth highlighting for our President is that Public distrust remains high following the massive multi-million-dollar co***ne busts due to the ongoing internal turmoil within the investigation. Everyone mentioned so far by media institutions like Spoon, FrontPageAfrica, Verity News, and Activist Martin N. Kollie has either been arrested, fired, or “self-recused.”

The only confusion now is th senior security people th President fired from NSA and LNP in relation to this investigation are still free men. We thank them immensely for their investigative journalism and advocacy; otherwise, this would have been a cold case by now, like other high-profile cases.

The President has given up to Monday for those investigating themselves to report back to him on their colleague who allegedly took a bribe from the cartel. At the same time, Activist Martin Kollie has announced that his “investigation has finally unraveled a very important mystery in the US$317 million drug bust that investigators have been looking for. This will lead to a new arrest.”

He has promised to “upload hard evidence from now to Monday.”
So, Monday is a big day for Cocaingate! To all my fellow citizens who support President JNB and want him to win this two-front war, keep speaking up. The message that Government is beholden to the people, and that it has no other source of power except the sovereign people, which is the central message in our constitution, defines your relationship with your government.

We must make Liberia unattractive to drug traffickers and their Liberian protectors. This is everybody’s business, and I will keep speaking up for the silent majority, many of whom are victims of the drug epidemic our President is fighting.

A blessed Sunday to all my church-going friends. Please pray for our President to have rh courage to act and win this two-front war to save Liberia from the cartel and bad state actors who are enabling them."

The Co***ne Cartel infiltrated and neutralized national security: LDEA Boss Biago conspired to cover up, facilitate, aid, and abet Drug Traffickers in exchange for gifts (cash and kind)

Martin K. N. Kollie writes…

We just returned from our break due to family obligation, and we are now turning on the National Security. Let’s begin with the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA).

The main Capone of the Drug Cartel in Liberia is George Wha Harris, popularly known as “Leroy Harris,” the owner and CEO of Private Bar Nightclub. His real name is not Leroy Harris. His real name is George Wha Harris. The government recently arrested and charged him with multiple drug-related crimes.

The Co***ne Cartel through “Leroy Harris” has been having direct link with top security agents and some higher-ups in government, including the Acting Boss of the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA), Deputy Police Commissioner (DCP) Fitzgerald T. M. Biago. DCP Biago was recommended to serve as the Officer in Charge (OIC) of the LDEA by Police Inspector General Col. Gregory Coleman.

DCP Biago has been and is operating with two cars in his convoy (a black jeep and a grey pickup) since his appointment to the LDEA. The black jeep is a government-owned vehicle that was donated by President Boakai along with 14 other cars (12 white Toyota Hilux pickups and 2 white jeeps) when Biago took over.

Now, let everyone pay keen attention, please. As attached, the grey Toyota Hilux pickup that DCP Fitzgerald Biago uses, and operates is NOT a government-owned pickup. Then who owns it?

It was gifted to him by the Drug Cartel through George Wha Harris alias Leroy Harris. We are going to provide evidence for everyone to clearly see.

Look at the license plate of the pickup that DCP Biago now uses as attached. What do you see? A532084.

What did we do next? We used the plate to pull out the car documents, and this is where Biago is caught red-handed.

The grey pickup that Biago uses is registered in the name of the Drug Capone of Liberia, George Wha Harris alias Leroy Harris. Let everyone go through the attached MOT car registration database as highlighted in red. What do you see? George Wha Harris with plate number A532084.

Details of the Car that DCP Biago now has and operates:

Category: B00000386422
Registration Name (Owner): George Wha Harris
Entry Date: 11/12/2024
Registration Expiry Date: 11/11/2025
VIN number: MRHGN7860NT199302
License Plate: A532084
Phone Number: 0880812971

Now, let everyone look at the phone number on the car registration document? Do you know whose number is this? The official phone number of the drug Capone of Liberia, George Wha Harris alias Leroy Harris, is clearly seen. To further verify this, please enter this cell phone number 0880812971 in your own phone and check via your mobile money. What do you see as attached? George Wha Harris.

The Drug Cartel through Leroy Harris also bought a car for Mrs. Valerie Pennoh Biago, the wife of OIC/DCP Fitzgerald T. M. Biago. When we did our initial post mentioning Biago’s name, that car bought for his wife was parking in their yard in the Rock Crusher community, Duport Road, Paynesville.

Interesting, they just removed the car from the yard. If the Joint Security moves in right now, there’s no car for his wife in their yard. They will be wondering how we just got this information in real-time. But that’s not important, because we are already far ahead of them. They’ve just removed it. That car was bought and gifted again by the Drug Cartel through Leroy Harris, the point man in Liberia for transnational and/or foreign drug traffickers.

The hard truth is that the Drug Cartel succeeded in infiltrating and neutralizing the national security sector, to a larger extent, especially the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) and the Liberia National Police (LNP). That’s why tens of thousands of our youth are now living in graveyards. This is ridiculously SAD. People will have to fully account for this. They have to account for destroying our country and destroying the lives of tens of thousands of our young brothers and sisters who are now sleeping in various graveyards across Liberia.

Biago MUST immediately resign and/or be DISMISSED, and turned over for investigation and prosecution. We have not said anything yet. Just starting. We will release more on the Cartel and their accomplices. The Cartel MUST be dismantled once and for all in order to save Liberia and the future of our children and youth.

We promised to fight for grieving Liberian families who’ve lost their children to drugs and graveyards. We won’t rest until this promise is fulfilled. Liberia First, Liberia Forever.

Zambian government has increased the accommodation allowance for eligible public university students by 50%, raising it to US$310 per student.

The increase is part of reforms to Zambia’s Higher Education Loans and Scholarship Scheme, which supports students from low-income households with tuition, accommodation and other study-related costs.

The government says the adjustment is meant to help students cope with rising living expenses while improving access to higher education.

The new allowance will be paid to students who qualify under the government’s loan and scholarship programme.
