According to World Bank report on global poverty index, nearly a billion people live on less than $1.90 a day. Every year , millions of people die from many preventable diseases and hunger because of their status and location.
This is something that has drawled attention of humanitarians and organizations in the world and they are exhausting efforts to address it, and we as people knowledgeable to this must raise the awareness and advocacy for a response and sustainable plans...
The Africa Poverty Impact Summit is an annual event that aims to bring together key stakeholders in the fight against in Liberia to discuss and address pressing poverty issues facing the country. The summit will provide a platform for national actors, policymakers NGOs, youth organizations, students, and community leaders to share knowledge, best practices, and recommendation on innovative solutions to improve the overall living condition and well-being of the Liberian population.
