God Makes Miracles Out of What You Have in Your Hands

Main Scripture
“And the Lord said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said, A rod.”
The Holy Bible

Introduction

Many people are waiting for something bigger, better, or greater before they believe God can use them. But throughout Scripture, God consistently used ordinary things in ordinary people’s hands to produce extraordinary miracles.

God is not limited by what you lack. He works with what you already have.

1. God Uses What Seems Small

Moses — A Rod
Moses only had a shepherd’s rod, but when surrendered to God, it became a tool of miracles:

The Red Sea parted

Water came from the rock

Signs and wonders happened in Egypt

Reference: The Holy Bible

Lesson

What looks ordinary in your hands becomes supernatural in God’s hands.

2. God Uses Available People, Not Perfect People

David — A Sling and Stones

David was not dressed like a warrior. He used what he already knew and had.

Reference: The Holy Bible

Lesson
Stop comparing yourself to others. God can use your natural abilities, experiences, and gifts.

3. Little Becomes Much in God’s Hands

The Widow’s Oil

The widow only had a small pot of oil, but God multiplied it until it overflowed.
Reference: The Holy Bible

The Boy’s Lunch

Five loaves and two fish fed thousands after Jesus blessed it.

Reference: The Holy Bible

Lesson

Your “little” is enough for God to begin with.

4. Your Miracle Is Connected to Surrender

God asked Moses:

“What is that in your hand?”

Before the miracle happened, Moses had to release the rod to God.

Lesson

A surrendered gift becomes a weapon for God’s glory.

Things God may use:

Your voice
Your talent
Your testimony
Your business
Your education
Your worship
Your time

5. Stop Ignoring What God Already Gave You

Many people pray for new things while ignoring what they already possess.

Key Truth
Your next miracle may already be in your hands.

Conclusion
God does not need abundance to perform miracles. He only needs obedience, faith, and surrender.

When you place what you have into God’s hands:

Lack becomes overflow
Weakness becomes strength

Ordinary becomes extraordinary

Closing Statement

“God specializes in turning ordinary things into extraordinary miracles.”

Prayer
“Lord, open my eyes to recognize what You have already placed in my hands. Teach me to surrender it to You so You can use it for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

The coat of many colors.

People Will Hate You for These Reasons: The Love of Your Father, The Coat of Many Colors, and Your Dream

Main Scripture: Genesis 37:3–11

This theme is inspired by the life of Joseph. Joseph was hated by his brothers not because he did evil, but because of what was upon his life. Sometimes people dislike you, not for your wrongs, but for the favor, identity, and future they see in you.

1. The Love of Your Father

Joseph was deeply loved by his father Jacob. The Bible says Jacob loved Joseph more than all his children.

Sometimes people resent you because of the love and favor you carry. They may feel overlooked and project jealousy onto you.

Lesson:
Do not apologize for being loved by God or by those He has placed in your life. Favor can attract envy, but it is still a blessing.

Spiritual Truth:
When Jesus Christ was baptized, the Father said, “This is my beloved Son.” Even divine approval attracted opposition.

2. The Coat of Many Colors

The coat represented distinction, identity, and honor. It showed Joseph was marked differently.

Some people dislike visible signs of grace on your life—your progress, gifts, peace, confidence, discipline, or opportunities. The “coat” today may not be clothing; it may be your testimony and growth.

Lesson:
Never remove your coat to make insecure people comfortable. What God placed on you is part of your assignment.

3. Your Dream

Joseph dreamed of greatness, leadership, and purpose. His brothers hated him even more when they heard the dream.

Many people are comfortable with you until you start talking about purpose, vision, and destiny. Dreams expose people who want you to stay small.

Lesson:
Protect your dream. Not everyone deserves access to what God showed you.

What to Do When People Hate You

1. Stay humble

Joseph went through process before the palace.

2. Keep your character clean

Do not become bitter because others are jealous.

3. Keep dreaming

Opposition does not cancel destiny.

4. Trust God’s process

The pit, prison, and delay were all steps to promotion.

Prophetic Encouragement

What people attack may be the very sign of what God will use to bless you. They hated Joseph’s coat, but they could not stop his crown.

Conclusion

People may hate you because:

The love of your Father (favor)

The coat of many colors (distinction)

Your dream (future)

But what God has ordained for you cannot be destroyed by human hatred.

Remember:
They may throw you in a pit, but God can still raise you to a palace.

Biblical Teaching: God’s Timing Is Not Wasting Time

Many people feel delayed when prayers are unanswered or plans move slowly. But the Bible teaches that God’s timing is purposeful, perfect, and never wasted. What feels like waiting to us is often God preparing us, protecting us, or positioning us for something better.

1. God Makes Everything Beautiful in Its Time

> “He has made everything beautiful in its time.”
— Ecclesiastes 3:11

This means God works according to His schedule, not ours. Even delays can become blessings later.

2. Waiting Builds Strength

> “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength...”
— Isaiah 40:31

Waiting seasons are not empty seasons. God uses them to grow patience, faith, and spiritual strength.

3. God Is Never Late

> “For the vision is yet for an appointed time... though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come.”
— Habakkuk 2:3

What God promised may seem delayed, but it will come at the right time.

4. Delay Can Be Protection

Sometimes God says “wait” because He sees dangers or wrong opportunities we cannot see. Closed doors can be mercy.

5. Jesus Also Waited on God’s Timing

Jesus did many things only when “His hour had come.” Even the Son of God moved by divine timing, not pressure from people.

Key Lesson

When God makes you wait, He is not wasting your time. He may be:

Preparing you

Protecting you

Teaching you

Strengthening you

Aligning the right people and opportunities

Encouragement

Your waiting season is not punishment. It may be preparation. Trust that God knows when the time is right.

📖 When God Separates You from What You Love 💔🙏

The test of surrendering even good things
📖 Scripture: Genesis 22:2 — “Then God said, ‘Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.’”

Why does God sometimes ask us to surrender what we love most? The truth is, separation is not always loss—it is a test of loyalty. God often requires surrender of even good things to prove that our devotion is anchored in Him alone.

Abraham was commanded to offer Isaac, the son of promise. This reveals the mystery: God sometimes tests love by requiring surrender. The test is not about destruction, but about proving that nothing—even good gifts—sits above Him in our hearts.

Separation from what you love represents:
- Obedience: Choosing God over gifts.
- Trust: Believing His plan beyond pain.
- Refinement: Removing hidden attachments.
- Maturity: Growing into covenant loyalty.
- Testimony of Faith: Evidence that devotion is pure.

The struggle manifests as:
- Frustration: Wrestling with why God requires surrender.
- Fear: Wondering if obedience means permanent loss.
- Loneliness: Carrying pain others cannot understand.
- Confusion: Struggling to reconcile love with sacrifice.
- Testing: God refining loyalty through surrender.

- Some think surrender means God cancels destiny. But Scripture shows it secures destiny.
- Others think separation is punishment. But it is preparation.
- Some think God delights in pain. But He delights in loyalty.

From heaven’s perspective, surrender is worship. God sees His children as heirs of promise, but He requires them to prove that promise does not replace Him. Heaven views separation as the safeguard of covenant purity.

What Surrender Produces
- Freedom: Release from hidden idols.
- Authority: Confidence rooted in obedience.
- Preservation: Guarding destiny through loyalty.
- Restoration: Healing through trust.
- Testimony: Evidence of faith refined by surrender.

Signs God Is Separating You from What You Love
1. Conviction urges surrender of something precious.
2. Peace rests in obedience, not possession.
3. Delay or loss exposes hidden attachments.
4. Faith is stretched beyond comfort.
5. Destiny feels anchored in loyalty, not gifts.

The Assignment of Believers in This Reality
- To discern separation as divine testing.
- To declare loyalty over attachment.
- To testify of God’s refining process.
- To glorify Him by living consecrated.
- To walk boldly in covenant surrender.

How to Surrender What You Love
- Apply Faith: Believe Genesis 22:2 as divine truth.
- Declare Victory: Speak obedience over fear.
- Remain Grateful: Celebrate gifts without idolizing them.
- Embrace Obedience: Trust God’s command fully.
- Magnify Christ’s Victory: Testify of His power to restore.

- Do not despise surrender—it proves loyalty.
- Stay discerning—recognize separation as testing.
- Stay bold—declare obedience in prayer and prophecy.
- Stay humble—destiny flows from Him, not gifts.
- Remember: Abraham’s obedience secured Isaac, not destroyed him.

“When God Separates You from What You Love” reminds us that no surrender, no sacrifice, and no separation is wasted—His Spirit refines, His word anchors, and His covenant ensures restoration. 🙏✨

Walk boldly, rejoice in His triumph, and remember: you serve the God who tests loyalty through surrender, but always preserves destiny through obedience. 💥🔥
