The presidend of the Republic of Liberia, His Excellency George Weah is calling on his supporters who believe in him to remain calm and stay off the streets and out of violence and wait for the official results from the National Elections Commission of Liberia NEC.
The presidend said "Liberians went to the pulls to elect their leader on November 14 and he as president will accept the result of the election even if he doesn't win and calling on his supporters to do the same. " If the Liberian people voted for Boakai to be the next president so be it, I will work with him for better Liberia. if they re-elect me so be it.. "Once again iam calling on all Liberians especially my supporters to remain calm and stay out of trouble. Do not break the law, or else the law will deal with you". The presidend concluded. This is my first time to see George weah speak to the issue as a leader.
