A 33-year-old Patricia Brooks has reportedly found lying dead between the Dweken and Philadelphia high Way in Grand Kru County.
According to police in the area, on Saturday August 31, 2024, an unknown person was seeing lying unconscious between the Dweken Community and Philadelphia high way.
Predicating upon said information, a team of the Liberia National Police Grand Kru Detachment officers headed by SUPT. Rufus Wesseh, and INSPT. DAPO KANWEAH, and two community watch forum personal JACOB BOYE NYENSEAH and KLAY B NIMELY proceeded at the scene to authenticate said sad information, indicating that upon the team of LNP investigators arrival at the scene, they meet with the town authority and with the victim father in person of NYANPLU BROOKS who told them that the victim PATRICIA BROOKS, 33yrs, Grebo by tribe, Liberian and a residence of Tubuville, Tarlue Administrative District, Buah Statutory District, was mentally ill.
Police in the County investigation quotes that the victim left the house since August 29, 2024 which was on Thursday and the family was in search of her and notified the local authority concerning victim their daughter.
The victim father further told police investigation that on Saturday August 31, 2024, he received a phone called from Dweken that his missing daughter lifeless body was seen lying down on the Dweken Philadelphia high way and this is how they went on the scene and called the LNP.
According to Police investigation, upon arrival at the scene, it was established that the victim was lying in an horizontal position with face facing the sky, and the medical term examined the body and pronounced that victim was dead and immediately the fifteen men jury was constituted to examined victim body and they reported that there was no foul played into the victim death.
Accordingly, she died at the result of her illness and immediately after their report, the family members of the victim through the father and brothers received the body from the LNP with a written documents requesting the LNP to turned over the body for a proper burial.
Meanwhile, there is no arrest has been made but police authority through it Commander, Clement Barlatt assured citizens and the the deceased family for justice, as investigation continue to find the route cause of the death of the late Patricia Brooks.
