Representative Williams donates Agricultural equipments in Maryland.

Pleebo, Maryland County_Amid efforts to increase agricultural production across the County, Maryland County electoral district #2 Representive Anthony F. Williams has donated several Agricultural equipments includes; Cassava machines and farm tools.
The donation according to the Representative Chief of Office Staff, is a significant step toward strengthening food security and supporting rural livelihoods for resident of the district.
He emphasize that the donation will help reduce the burden of manual cassava processing, improve productivity, and empower smallholder farmers especially women and youth who rely heavily on cassava production as a primary source of income and food.
The communities that have benefited from donation includes; New Sodoken, Gbolobo Kaeken, Wetchoken, Christian Community among others.
He names hoes, cutlasses, shovels as farm tools distributed to other surrounding towns and villages to assist in land preparation and crop cultivation during the peak farming season.
For his part, Standford Y. Neufville, the Representative constituency officer, has reaffirmed the Representative commitment to supporting residents through rural farming.
He explained that the donation has been widely welcomed by community members with local farmers expressing their appreciation, noting that the cassava machines will drastically reduce the time women spend processing cassava.
Mr. Neufville pointed out that the initiative aligns with the Pleebo Sodoken District Representative broader development agenda, which prioritizes agriculture, education, healthcare, and road infrastructure.
"Since taking office, the Representative has consistently invested in projects aimed at improving the lives of ordinary citizens and expanding economic opportunities in rural areas" he disclose.
He however, called on local leaders and residents to make proper use of the equipments, urging them to adopt cooperative approaches to ensure sustainability and equal access.
Pointing out that the cassava machines, include other farming tools are expected to make a meaningful impact in increasing yields, reducing post-harvest losses and stimulating rural economic growth
