RE: REJECTION OF SOCCER ACADEMIES ALLOCATION: A CALL FOR RECONSIDERATION

The Office of Hon. Mohammad Dosii expresses its profound disappointment and respectful objection to the pronouncement made by His Excellency the President during his State of the Nation Address, allocating soccer academies to Montserrado and B**g counties, while inadvertently overlooking Grand Cape Mount County, the host county of Bea Mountain Mining Corporation.

As a host county, Grand Cape Mount County respectfully asserts its priority consideration for such development projects, in line with the principles of equitable distribution and corporate social responsibility. We humbly request that Bea Mountain Mining Corporation reconsiders its decision and allocates one of the soccer academies to Grand Cape Mount County, in recognition of the county's contributions to the company's operations.

Hon. Dosii will be communicating with fellow caucus members to convene an emergency meeting to address this issue and ensure that Grand Cape Mount County benefits from the company's presence in a manner consistent with its status as a host community.

We respectfully urge all stakeholders to ensure fairness and equity in the distribution of development projects.

We also call on the people of Grand Cape Mount County to remain peaceful and calm as we pursue this matter through the appropriate channels, trusting that justice will be served.
