The Moroccan Football Federation and FIFA are currently undertaking a couple of projects across Liberia including the ATS (Morocco) and the Ganta Sport Stadium ( FIFA). Their projects are fully funded project that includes the installation of turf and infrastructural improvement.
These projects are supervised by the LFA with little role played by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. I stand to be corrected.
Why is Cape Mount Case different and who is asking for the USD 500K to improve the Momo Tarweh Sport Stadium? The Ministry of Youth and Sport, Cape Mount the Moroccan Football Federation, or the Liberia Football Association?
I think we deserve clarity on this matter. We deserve to know who is undertaking this project. We deserve to know if it's self-funded or fully funded.
If it's self-funded, who is providing the USD 500K? Cape Mount or MYS? Who are the engineers hired (company) that we can do a follow-up on? Was there a competitive bidding process done?
The County Meet Steering Committee is limited to county meet activities. The reason why a new committee is appointed every county meet year. Shouldn't the county administrators be involved in this discussion?
We have seen contradictory publications concerning this one project. It's prudent that we know the details surrounding this project for the sake of transparency and accountability.
For this reason, I have rolled out a couple of emails to the Ministry of Youth and Sport, the LFA, and the Moroccan Football Federation to ascertain facts surrounding this USD 500K project.
