Fellow Liberians,
I stand in gratitude to God for His grace and blessings upon my life. Nearly two days ago, I set out on a mission to challenge myself and inspire my fellow artists by delivering an extraordinary concert at the SKD, one that will forever go down in our country's history.
To my big brother, 2Switt thank you! Your kindness, your generosity, and your class have personified. When I was reached out to that morning to inform me that the SKD had been booked for July 26, I had doubts. I questioned whether Liberians were ready. But you believed in me, trusted me with your resources, and proved that our people were ready, they were simply waiting for Christoph to take the stage. You and my tremendously hardworking team, my manager, Amara Konneh Jr, Prince Iverson Kennedy, my brother Jackie Russ, my producer Rapkid, Fredie Fred, DJ Weezy, Anthony Fofana, Kingmay, and the entire Money Empire family, you are the true MVPs. At this pivotal moment, Liberia’s music industry needs more visionary leaders like you, you were the brain. I am deeply grateful, today and always, for your dedication and impact.
To my wife, Kindii Nyenga, and my son Kash, you flew from America and London just to surprise me. From the bottom of my heart, Daddy loves you both. I’m so grateful that you were here to make history with me.
To the fans, and fellow artists, I know a lot of you doubted this, but I’m proud to say that the fear has been taken away and the spell has been broken, glad that any of our top artists can now successfully fill the SKD! This victory belongs to all of us, and I’m deeply thankful to everyone who supported this vision.
That said, we made some mistakes along the way. The A-listers, the upcoming artists, and the OGs, I openly apologize for everything. The Poor time management and communication gaps left some of you unable to perform, and for that, I take full responsibility. My team and I are truly sorry, and we will do better next time. Your support means everything, and we won’t take it for granted.
Now the road is clear, let’s get back to work and usher in the next artist to make history!
