Bassa Sports Association Unveils Technical Staff for 2026 National County Sports Meet

The Bassa Sports Association (BSA) has officially unveiled the technical and administrative staff that will lead its football, basketball, and kickball teams at the 2026 National County Sports Meet.

According to the association, the appointments followed a comprehensive vetting process conducted by its Vetting Committee and were subsequently approved by the BSA leadership.

For the football team, Daniel Baryogar has been appointed Technical Director, with Aloysious Glassco serving as Head Coach and Friday Grigsby as Deputy Coach.

The technical team also includes Nanejay Russ (Trainer), Sekou Baryou (Goalkeeper Trainer), Alvin Jallah (Team Manager), Daniel Wright (Team Medic), Mark Chea (Bone Doctor), and Chinkar Dbarpah (Caretaker).

In basketball, Charleston Wesseh will lead the team as Head Coach, assisted by Christian McGill as Deputy Coach. Enoch Chea has been named Team Manager, while Martin Browne will serve as Trainer and Samuel Joe as Caretaker.

The kickball team will be guided by Anthony Jarmah as Technical Director, with Lovo Mulbah appointed Head Coach and Prince Mbanie as Deputy Coach. The technical staff also includes Morris Brent (Trainer), Louise Toe (Team Manager), and Cooper Morris (Caretaker).

To provide additional oversight, the association has appointed James Debbeh as Technical Advisor for all three disciplines, Arthur Jimmy as Administrative Advisor, and Cllr. Ejerald Barchue as Legal Advisor.

The BSA leadership said preparations for the 2026 National County Sports Meet will begin in the coming weeks, with the newly appointed technical teams set to commence player assessments across football, basketball, and kickball.

The National County Sports Meet remains Liberia's premier inter-county sporting event, bringing together athletes from across the country to compete for county pride in football, basketball, kickball, and other sporting disciplines.
