Part #2

Mr. Tamba's alleged son came out, but guess what happened next?

When Tamba Junior arrived, Mr. Tamba said, "Here is my son. He's my carbon copy." But Mr. Tamba insisted that he would take his son, Tamba Jr., from the house. He told Tamba Jr. that he is Liberian, but Tamba Junior asked his mother if she knew Mr. Tamba. Vickey again admitted to having a relationship with Mr. Tamba after Tamba Junior asked. Tamba Junior's age matches the years that Mr. Tamba claimed Vickey left Liberia.

Mr. Tamba told Tamba Junior that he is married in Liberia but hasn't had any children since then, except for Tamba Junior.

Vickey later denied having a relationship with Mr. Tamba, but confirmed that she still knows him.

Mr. Tamba told Vickey that he wanted to see her husband because he wants to take his son, Tamba Jr., to Liberia.

Will Tamba Jr. accept Mr. Tamba as his father?

Let us find out in part #3.

Mr. Tamba, a Liberian national, traveled to Lagos, Nigeria, after 29 years to find his son. He said he had a romantic relationship with a Nigerian businesswoman named Vickey, who visited Liberia in the 90s. Mr. Tamba explained that they were together for months until she said she felt uncomfortable. He suspected she was pregnant.

Mr. Tamba claimed that Vickey left Liberia without his permission, and he lost contact with her.

He said that a friend of Vickey's told him that Vickey was pregnant and had a baby boy, who Mr. Tamba believes is his son. When Mr. Tamba went to Vickey's home in Lagos, she admitted she knew him, but said she had aborted the pregnancy. Mr. Tamba has denied Vickey's statement about the abortion.

This is an interesting story. Watch it and share. Part two of the story is coming up next.

“A Form of Legalized Theft,” LPP Political Leaders Tiawan Gongloe Slams President Boakai for Extravagant Foreign Trip

Cllr. Gongloe writes:

“Frugality, not Exravegance: Tiawan Saye Gongloe s statement on the President Boakai’s trip to the Japan for TICAD 9 and Expo 2025.

Fellow Liberians, good day.

I welcome Liberia’s engagement with Japan at TICAD and Expo 2025. These platforms can open doors—for investment, technology, tourism, and jobs. We should be there. But we must also travel lean, lawful, and focused. It is a misstep for Liberia, the tenth poorest country of the world, without its own plan, to travel with an official delegation of 23 officials of government, twelve of whom are cabinet ministers! What sense does it make for a minister, deputy minister and assistant ministers to travel from the same ministry or for subject matter advisors to travel with ministers with statutory responsibilities for those subject matters.

The recent reports suggesting a very large delegation for this trip, with figures like dozens of officials and a wider cohort of travelers is annoying to most Liberians.

Let me be clear: I support the mission, but oppose the apparent extravegance.
Liberia is a poor country with poor healthcare and educational systems as well as poor infrastructure and high food insecurity. We cannot afford jumbo entourages. Our people are demanding medicine in hospitals, desks for schools, and clean water in communities. Every dollar must work for the people.

Here’s what I’m calling for today:
Publish the facts. Release the full delegate list, stating who is funding what, and the purpose of each official. If Japan or other partners are covering costs, say so for Liberians to be at ease.

We can represent Liberia with pride and prudence at the same time. Our message to the people of Liberia and the world at all times should be that the Liberian Government is serious: serious about investment, serious about reform, and serious about protecting taxpayers’ money. Modesty stimulates public trust and international sympathy and support. Expensive traveling combined with the very high salaries of some Liberian government officials that in some cases are even higher than officials holding comparable positions in the US amounts to extravegance, not prudence. In fact, it amounts to legalized theft.

I support international engagements that are strategic, lawful, and frugal. I oppose waste, wherever in any form, shape or manner. Wasteful spending on high salaries and benefits as well as foreign trips, whether or not budgetted is a form of legalized theft.

Government is a place to serve, not to steal.
“A better Liberia is possible”

May God bless Liberia.”

Update!!
Extended Hands Liberia Launches “Help An Orphan Campaign” to Support Thousands of Vulnerable Liberian Children.

By Emmanuel Moses Nowahson Togbah Jr.

Monrovia, Liberia – Extended Hands Liberia, a non for-profit organization has officially launched its “Help An Orphan Campaign,” a nationwide initiative aimed at providing critical support to over a thousand orphaned and vulnerable children across Liberia.

The launch ceremony took place on Saturday, August 16, 2025, in Monrovia, drawing stakeholders from government agencies, civil society, the international community, and concerned citizens committed to child welfare.

The “Help An Orphan Campaign” is designed to provide food, clothing, education, healthcare, and psychosocial support to children living in orphanages, on the streets, or in under-resourced communities.

The campaign reflects Extended Hands Liberia’s ongoing commitment to advocate for the rights and well-being of children who have been left behind by circumstances beyond their control.

Speaking at the launch, the Executive Director of Extended Hands Liberia, Thelma Edwards, emphasized the urgent need for national solidarity and sustainable interventions.

The Campaign also witnessed the official launch of the humanitarian organization in Liberia.

The organization was established by a humanitarian Morrison Dassin Jr, aimed at supporting school going kids, Disadvantage Youths, as well as underprivileged Liberians.

The organization believes that with collaborative effort, Liberia can become a place where no child is forgotten, and every orphan has the chance to thrive.
