People in Grand Bassa County burnt a town to ashes following the mysterious disappearance of a 21-year-old boy, Blama Chea, at the hill of a river.

Blama and his brother, Maron Chea, fished on October 25, 2022, when he reportedly flees into thin air.

“My brother and I woke up and decided to go fishing by 6:00 AM but while I was getting in the canoe, I saw the water shaking behind me.

Before I could look behind, I discovered that my brother who was holding the canoe for me to get in it had gone missing and I couldn't see him around.” Maron TV, a popular TV station in Grand Bassa County.

According to Maron, he quickly ran to Malakor town and informed the others about what had happened. Angry protesters joined Maron in the search for Blama Chea.

They reportedly set the entire town on fire when the missing boy could not be seen and threatened to burn other nearby towns if Blama “does not come from the spirit.

The Liberian Court has officially charged George B. Kailondo with Assault for allegedly shooting his friend during a scuffle at a local entertainment center.

He is the son of George B Kailondo Sr., owner of the Kailondo hotel and gas station.

The survivor of the incident is currently receiving treatment at the JFK medical center as a result of the injury sustained.

Former beauty queen Anastasiia Lenna joined the Ukrainian military
Thousands of volunteers have joined the defense of Ukraine to fight against Russian forces, but a former beauty queen isn't among them, contrary to viral rumors circulating online.
Since Russia launched a military assault on Feb. 24, images of Ukrainian men and women in civilian clothes carrying rifles have gone viral. The latest photo to capture widespread attention is one purporting to show former Miss Grand Ukraine Anastasiia Lenna joining the military to defend her country.

“Anastasia (sic) Lenna became Miss Ukraine in 2015,” reads the caption of a Feb. 27 Facebook image that generated more than 8,300 reactions in less than a week. “Today she is fighting for her country with 36,000 women.”
Another Feb. 27 Facebook post with thousands of interactions compares an image of Lenna at a beauty contest next to photos of her in tactical gear, claiming she “changed her high heels for combat boots to fight for her country.
