The next day, Aditya couldn't shake off the weird feeling. He met Raghav at school, still thinking about the power surge.

ADITYA:: Dude, I'm telling you, it was like a jolt of electricity.😣
RAGHAV:: (chucks head) Maybe you just had too much caffeine, Aditya 🙂

Zoya and Shesha were discussing their debate strategy.

ZOYA:: We gotta nail this year's comp. I've got a plan 🙂
SHESHA:: (smiles) Sounds like you're on it, Zoya🙂

Mahi walked into the cafeteria, seeing the group laughing.

Mahi::[Wish I was part of that]

Meanwhile, Aditya got a text from an unknown number.

ADITYA:: (reads) "The power's just beginning. Be ready."
RAGHAV:: (serious) Dude, this is getting weird 🤨

Aditya decided to investigate.

Aditya:: Raghav, let's dig into Mumbai's secrets.

*A NEW LEAD*
Aditya found a cryptic note in his locker: "Look for the girl with two faces at the old oak tree, 4 PM."

Raghav:: (raised an eyebrow) Sounds like a plan, dude.🙂

At 4 PM, Aditya and Raghav headed to the old oak tree. Mahi showed up, looking confused.

MAHI:: (nervously) You guys got a message too?
ADITYA:: (surprised) What message?
MAHI:: (shows phone) "Meet me at the old oak tree. I know about the power."

The trio exchanged looks.

Aditya:: What power? 🤨

Suddenly, Zoya appeared, eyes gleaming.

Zoya:: I think I know what they're talking about. 😣
Mahi::Are you serious?
ZOYA:: (serious) Guys, I felt something weird too. Like...I could lift anything. 😏
SHESHA:: (arriving) And I saw a vision of...of us, doing something big 😑

The group went silent.

Mahi:: What does it mean? 🤨

*THE POWER SURGE HITS*
As they talked, the group felt a burst of energy. Their phones buzzed in sync.

ADITYA:: (excited) Did you guys feel that?🙂
RAGHAV:: (grinning) Yeah...I think we're getting powers.😏

The friends looked at each other, unsure what was coming.

- Aditya got heightened instincts
- Zoya got superhuman strength
- Mahi could manipulate tech
- Raghav got genius-level problem-solving
- Shesha got predictive visions

As they realized their new abilities, the school's intercom crackled.

*PRINCIPAL'S ANNOUNCEMENT*
"An unknown entity has activated the school's ancient power system. Students with special abilities, report to the auditorium NOW."

The friends exchanged terrified glances.

Krishna::I'm 19 years and I'm living with my sick grandma suffering from brain tumor and I'm also looking after my younger sister who my mother abandoned and paying for her school fees, I had to drop out of school when I was in grade 10 the moment grandma fell ill, I had to make piece jobs to make sure everyone sleeps on a full stomach
Seema::*emotional* oh dear, I'm so sorry that you had to go through this at a very young age 😑
