8th Annual National Spelling Bee Celebrates the Talent and Potential of Young Basotho

The 8th Annual National Spelling Bee has once again highlighted the impressive talent, determination and academic potential of learners across Lesotho. Held from 3 to 4 September at the Manthabiseng Convention Centre, the competition brought together 150 Grade 4 to Grade 11 learners for two days of learning, competition and celebration. The event gave young Basotho an opportunity to test their spelling skills while building confidence and embracing the value of education. Learners from different parts of the country took on the challenge with determination as they competed for the opportunity to emerge among the ultimate winners.
