BURIAL at MoMA PS1🐍

Burial, a feature documentary by Emilija Skarnulyte is currently featured in The Gatherers exhibition at MoMA PS1. Curated by Ruba Katrib, this significant exhibition showcases contemporary artists who are delving into the remnants of overproduction, crumbling infrastructure, and political unrest.

DANCE + CITY x Lokys, liūtas ir šakelė

Dance + City is a series of nine short films blends contemporary dance with architecture across five countries: Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, France, and Ukraine. Each film offers a unique exploration of how the physical structures around us—often overlooked in our daily lives—interact with the fluidity of the human body, inviting viewers to rediscover the architecture of different eras and regions.

Next Monday (06.02) at 20:00 we will have a screening in Vilnius, Lithuania at Lukiškių kalėjimas 2.0 with Lokys, liūtas ir šakelė 🎉

Exciting news! DECEMBER, our co-produced project, will premiere at Sheffield DocFest this June in the prestigious International First Feature Competition. This marks a significant milestone as the debut documentary feature from director Grzegorz Yaseen Paprzycki.

DECEMBER is a creative documentary about the humanitarian crisis at Poland’s eastern border. Using the narrative arc of December, the month of sharp contrasts – the festive season and family warmth, but also unrestrained consumerism – it shows the drama still happening at our border.

Big congratulations to producers Telemark (Piotr Uśmiech & Maciej Kubicki) and grateful for this collaboration. The project was financed by Polski Instytut Sztuki Filmowej, Lietuvos kino centras, mx35.eu and in partnership with Al Jazeera Channel - قناة الجزيرة.

March kicked off in Reims, France, where, thanks to the amazing Tatino Films team and the project, we had the opportunity to dive into the development of our new series project THERAPIES! Working alongside Birutė Kapustinskaitė, Ruxandra Ghitescu, Fabrizio Muscia, and Dagnė Vildžiūnaitė, we not only made progress on the project but also exchanged knowledge, insights, and creative inspiration with incredible mentors, industry professionals, and fellow creators.

An inspiring week has flown by with ACE Producers Animation Special in Di**le, Ireland.

Together with 16 amazing fellow animation producers, producer Dagnė Vildžiūnaitė spent six days filled with lectures, consultations, discussions, films, sharing knowledge, joys, and challenges – and, of course, plenty of laughter and the breathtaking Irish nature 🐑🌊🌱🌦️

Huge thanks to the incredible organizers, Al, Isabel, and Jacobine, for making this week unforgettable 🫶 Ace producers rocks, as always 🤘

MARIA IS ON TV is officially in production! We’re more than glad to announce that our documentary, directed by Viktorija Mickute and Ieva Balsiūnaitė, is underway with the support of Lietuvos kino centras.

This documentary explores the impact of Mexican telenovelas on women in Lithuania during the 1990s, examining how these soap operas shaped their views on relationships, society, and personal growth. The filmmakers, who grew up watching telenovelas, reflect on whether these stories empowered or confined women, and how they influenced their own lives🌸

Previously the development was supported by Lietuvos kino centras, Creative Europe, and Institute of Documentary Film‘s Ex Oriente workshop.

We can’t wait to share a fresh new perspective on telenovelas with the audience✨

THERAPIES x POP UP SERIES INCUBATOR
Very excited to share that our producer's Dagnė Vildžiūnaitė writer’s Birutė Kapustinskaitė series project “Therapies” got selected for Tatino Films Pop Up Series Ibcubator🩷 Huge congratulations also to fellow writers, who recently joined our project Ruxandra Ghitescu and Fabrizio Muscia!

The script is adapted from a play, also written by Birutė, to a new point of view in a series format.

The incubator kicks off soon, and we can’t wait to see what incredible developments emerge in the coming week🧸
