How to Clean Pillow Cores Easily
Over time, pillow cores can yellow, develop mold spots, and trap odors. Washing only the covers isn’t enough—dirty pillow cores can harbor bacteria and affect your health.
Hand Wash Method:
• Mix warm water with 1 tbsp detergent, ½ cup white vinegar, and ½ cup baking soda.
• Soak for 15–20 minutes, squeeze to remove dirt, rinse well, and dry in the sun.
Washing Machine Method:
• Fill with 3 parts cold water and 1 part warm water.
• Add equal amounts of dish soap, bleach, and baking soda, plus double the amount of detergent powder.
• Wash on a gentle cycle (no high spin) and dry in the sun.
Regular cleaning keeps your pillows fresh, hygienic, and long-lasting.
