diariesof is a travel coffee table magazine that inspires people to travel around the world. These were certainly moments not to be missed.

diariesof is a travel and photography coffee table magazine that begins the tale of our trip to South America. Making a journey of 22,000 kms on a motorbike, facing the vastness of the landscape and the harshness of the weather, made us feel humble. But as soon as we felt the wind blow in our faces we experienced a feeling of freedom which was priceless, which nurtured our souls and encouraged our

bodies. When we returned from this epic trip of six months, we were inspired to put together a magazine with photos and stories about what we experienced during that time. diariesof is a compilation of our stories and of the stories of other travellers we met along the way. We will never forget the people we met or their generosity. We never tire of telling all the stories that illustrate this: like the time when we were sleeping in an airport and a complete stranger woke us to offer us breakfast, the time the chain of the motorbike let us down and we were rescued by a pick-up, the time we got a lift in a hearse and so many more. diariesof is both a thank you to all the people we met along the way and a retribution to inspire people to travel around the world. 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞 - 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟑

What a big surprise Benidorm has been! A curious mix of city skylines, coastal rides, beaches and mountain valleys. This is how we spent the day:

📍 Stop 1:
We grabbed e-bikes near the Plaza de la Hispanidad and rode along Benidorm’s long waterfront. Our favourite spot: the blue-and-white Mirador del Castell for some of the best views in the Mediterranean.

📍 Stop 2:
Next, we rode up a steep hill into the Sierra Helada National Park. The electric bikes made the climb super easy! At the top, it was so peaceful and we could see hidden blue coves below us and Benidorm's famous skyscraper skyline to the west. Now we know why people call it "Beni York"!

📍 Stop 3:
Delicious Local Rice
All that riding made us starving! We stopped at Restaurante Ulia right by the beach for a local dish called arròs a banda. The friendly chef, Ulia, told us it is different from regular paella because the rice is cooked in a rich, flavorful fish stock. It was delicious! We also treated ourselves to a torrija (Spanish French toast) with ice cream for dessert. 🤤

📍 Stop 4 :
Jeep Safari & Natural Pools
To beat the afternoon food coma, we jumped into a Jeep Safari tour! We drove deep into the Sierra de Aitana mountains and ended our day with a cool, refreshing swim in the natural pools of Les Fonts de l’Algar.

𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐞 - 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐
We started the day in the mountainous heart of the Alicante region, and it was magic. If you're planning a trip, save this itinerary! 👇

📍 Stop 1: The Hidden Village of Guadalest 🏰
We squeezed through a narrow 15-metre tunnel carved into solid rock and emerged into a secret medieval world. Perched on a cliff is the Castle of San José, which offers lovely views of a surreal, neon-turquoise reservoir below.

📍 Stop 2: Wine Tasting at Bodega MASOS 🍷
Next, we headed to Benimantell for some enotourism. This estate is bringing centuries of lost winemaking history back to life. Sitting in a sunny courtyard 700 metres above sea level, we tasted rich, peppery olive oils and delicious high-altitude wines. Absolute heaven.

📍 Stop 3: Waterfalls & Poetry in Polop 💦
We drove to Polop, a very charming town on the hills! We hiked up to the castle ruins, snacked on the local loquats (nísperos), and walked through a literary cemetery dedicated to the poet Gabriel Miró.

📍 Stop 4: Golden Hour in Altea & Sunset Catamaran ⛵️🌅
We ended the day in Altea, the "Santorini of Spain." The white-washed streets and the iconic blue-tiled domes of the Nuestra Señora del Consuelo church looked stunning in the late afternoon colours. To cap it all off, we hopped on a catamaran to watch the sunset from the water. Watching the town lights start to twinkle against the dark mountain silhouettes was the perfect finale. ⛰️❤️

Right, so we started our staycation with a quick trip to Alicante! 🇪🇸 Yes, you can now fly directly from Luxembourg to Alicante with , and we just jumped at the chance to get some well-deserved rest on the Costa Blanca.

We dedicated our very first day to exploring the city of Alicante, and we fell in love with it! 😍

Hey everyone! First off, we’re so sorry for being so quiet on here lately – life has been quite far from social media, but we are finally having time to share the most important news.

For those of you who have been asking how we're doing, here is a quick little update:

𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐚’𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲: Yes, Anabela is doing great and recovering really well after her surgery. Thank you for all the sweet messages.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤: Yes, our motorbike officially made it home safe and sound from Indonesia!

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫: Yes, the mood to ride never goes away – we are already planning our next big motorcycle trip!

𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐬: Yes, we are staying closer to home this season and will be travelling around Europe this summer.

Wow. Just… wow. 🏍️✨

To everyone who came to our talk at the Lisbon Motorcycle Film Fest – thank you from the bottom of our hearts! ❤️

Sharing our talk, 'Beyond the Horizon', and being on the stage of a festival that we have admired for such a long time felt like a milestone for us. 🎬 A huge thank you to the whole team for making us feel at home and part of the tribe!

Looking out into the audience and seeing so many familiar faces, fellow riders, and film lovers was also very humbling. Ten years of dust, breakdowns, beautiful horizons, and unforgettable encounters led us to that stage, and we couldn’t have asked for a better community to share it with.

Whether you came up to say hello afterwards, shared a story, or just cheered us on from the seats: Obrigado! You made a decade of adventures feel even more meaningful. 🇵🇹 🙏 🏍️

22 Cities, 2 Countries and Countless Emotions.

In the last few weeks, we had the incredible privilege of taking our "10 Years on the Road 🌍 " presentation to over 20 cities across 🇨🇭 and 🇩🇪. Sharing our journey with more than 5,000 people has left us feeling beyond grateful.

It was intense, both emotionally and physically. To be honest, we’re usually happiest on our motorcycle, riding toward the unknown. Stepping out of our comfort zone and onto a stage every night was a different kind of challenge, but equally rewarding.

A heartfelt thank you ❤️ 🙏 to everyone who made this possible: the organizers, the technicians, and especially the incredible audiences who laughed, smiled, and even cried with us. To those who came up to us afterwards to share a hug, a story, or a kind word – your feedback means the world 🌍 to us ❤️ .

It’s been quite a journey (pun intended). It took over three years to get here – from our first rejected submission to winning 🏆 3rd prize at the 2024 in Switzerland. After countless hours sorting through a decade of photos, videos, and memories, we finally found the right words to convey the essence of why we travel.

Knowing that our stories resonated with so many of you is the greatest reward we could ask for. Danke! 🙏
