Immigration is a huge topic today in America—and a very divisive one at that. Politicians run campaigns focusing on immigration policy, and it seems everyone has a different opinion on what should and shouldn’t be done about it. At Saint Leo University, a panel of professors didn’t shy away from tackling this difficult topic and civilly discussing the million-dollar question: “Who belongs?” Read Elijah Penn’s article to find out more about this event.

The students were in the Student Community Center Boardrooms, screaming at Belly’s decision with half the campus. CAB’s The Summer I Turned Pretty finale watch party was a whole rollercoaster of emotions with free nuggets, iced tea, Sour Patch Kids, and stickers of Conrad, Jeremiah, and Belly. The room was packed, the drama was real, and the poll results? Team Conrad swept. On Aug. 29, CAB and Dining Hall turned the SCC Lakeside Patio into a carnival. Students lined up for balloon darts, fishbowl tosses, and bottle knockdowns, with the purpose of winning fun prizes such as teddy bears, plastic aliens, and live fish! Also, the carnival provided the students with snacks like corn dogs, cotton candy, and snow cones. This event brought students and faculty together for an unforgettable night. On September 8th, the Campus Activity Board hosted an event called Make your Mark with CAB; an event filled with paint, decor, and creativity. On September 16, at Saint Leo university, there was a memorial for Charlie Kirk, who was a politician, and the cofounder of “Turning Point”, an organization, that advocates for conservative politics. Kirk was an inspiration for many. At the memorial, hosted by turning point USA at Saint Leo, many people got to speak about Kirk and share how he impacted their lives.
