On Aug. 29, CAB and Dining Hall turned the SCC Lakeside Patio into a carnival. Students lined up for balloon darts, fishbowl tosses, and bottle knockdowns, with the purpose of winning fun prizes such as teddy bears, plastic aliens, and live fish! Also, the carnival provided the students with snacks like corn dogs, cotton candy, and snow cones. This event brought students and faculty together for an unforgettable night. On September 16, at Saint Leo university, there was a memorial for Charlie Kirk, who was a politician, and the cofounder of “Turning Point”, an organization, that advocates for conservative politics. Kirk was an inspiration for many. At the memorial, hosted by turning point USA at Saint Leo, many people got to speak about Kirk and share how he impacted their lives.
