Christian and I went for an early mornin therapy session this morning!

The Bite was Non-Stop! We got there around 530, lines wet around 545, the first bite came and it didnt stop!

I lost count to how many fish we caught, but id say close to 50, now grant it, they weren't much, but lines were tight and rods were bending!

We caught Whiting, Spots, Croakers, Silver Trout, Bonnetheads, and of course catfish!

Had the pleasure of meeting up with a friend, Francis Santos. He's new to the surf fishing world and was able to fish along side him today. Glad you came! 🤙🏼

Today was none stop action! Didn't have time to sit. Between my 4 set rigs, and 1 shark rod. No pull downs on the shark rod. Although I did have 2 pull downs from pelicans on my set rigs! 😂

Was using straight Fishbites, was using dead shrimp and live fleas.

Water was calm, dirty up close, cleaner further out.

Caught lots of fish!
Spots
Croakers
Whiting
Pompano
Catfish
Bonnetheads

We got there around 530am and reeled up around 1015 or so.

Got lines wet around 605am. Met up with Scotty Fishlips Olson!

First bite didnt take long. Reeled in a grunt!
Dead shrimp/Pink Fishbites! A first for me in the surf.
Which caught my attention that there must be rocks around!

2nd fish was a hairy blenny, which really confirmed that there is in fact rocks!

The bite was none stop. Catching some keeper size whiting, 13" was biggest today. Caught a Atlantic Bumper today which was also crazy!

The last bite of the day was a 16" pup drum, on shrimp/pink fishbites!

So there's a point where the rocks stop. Which is directly in front of the ramp.

I was directly in the front of the ramp, and only got snagged once die to a fish swimming me in the rocks. Then walked out and came back with a rig that scotty lost. So yes the rocks are there. But if you reel fast enough to suspend your weights, or have Tung tabs you should be ok.

The forecast looks decent for the FSF Meet Up on the 21st!

So if you go north 50 yds you should be clear of any rocks.

Today had the honor of finally getting on the sand with the raffle winner for the 500 followers on tiktok!

Mary Megan thank you for meeting me on the sand today! Although the bite was hot, the bite wasn't what we wanted!

RHO was out in full force this past weekend.

Momma RHO wanted to go to St Augustine and enjoy the beaches up there. So we did exactly that!

Saturday started out at Matanzas but the rain kept us further north. So we moved to Ponte Verda. Didnt catch much but we caught!

Sunday we drove to Anastasia State Park! It was beautiful! We will definitely be back there! Caught a bunch of stud whiting!

Monday went to Matanzas and the water was crystal clear. But the bite was almost none existent! Caught 2 shark and 1 pomp!

Love these getaways with the woman I admire most!
