1977 YAMAHA YZ250D (MONOSHOCK) – DISPATCHED

An exceptional piece of motocross heritage has left JPGarage Valmiera and is heading to its new home in Germany alongside the '77 Can-Am MX-3.

A true benchmark of the late-70s golden era. This air-cooled 2-stroke cantilever Monoshock is in astonishing survivor condition — still sitting on its original 1976-date-stamped tires. Complete factory originality throughout, preserved with only a recovered seat and correct decals. Pure round-tube monoshock geometry before the aluminum swingarm era arrived the following year.

Cleaned, checked over, and preserved for the next chapter.

1977 CAN‑AM MX‑3 250 “Black Widow” — heading to its new owner in Germany

One of the rarest late‑70s VMX machines you’ll ever see in Europe — for us, this was the first Black Widow in real life.

Ancillotti CRH 250 (1980) ignition replacement. Unfortunately, the old Motoplat spark is weak.
HPI sent a kit that lets me keep the original rotor. Can’t wait to finally test the HIRO engine and this Italian legend.
