Are we witnessing a total collapse, or is this just the calm before the storm? 📉⚡
The market charts for the latest Pokémon: Pitch Black set are looking brutal right now. Across the board, card values and sealed product prices have taken a steep nosecone dive since their peak:
Mega Darkrai ex (SIR): Crashed from the $850 range down to around $233.
Mega Darkrai ex (Gold / Hyper Rare): plummeted from $1,000 to roughly $173.
Morpeko ex (SIR): Hit a high near $200, now sitting at $101.
Misty’s Vitality: Dropped from $75 to a modest $21.
Even sealed products aren't safe—Booster Boxes dropped from nearly $300 to $178, and ETBs sliced down from $148 to $75.
Is the Pitch Black expansion just failing to hold the hype and falling flat with collectors? Or is the community completely holding back their cash to stack up for the massive 30th Anniversary set dropping next month?
