In a nearby settlement, a monkey that ran away from a nature park in the Scottish Highlands has been spotted.

On Sunday morning, the Japanese macaque at Highland Wildlife Park in Kingussi escaped its enclosure. Since then, the town of Kingcraig has been videotaped by the locals as the macaque eats nuts and bird feed in their gardens.

To encourage the monkey to return to the park when it is hungry, residents of the area are being asked to bring in any food that is kept outside. Additionally, they are being told not to approach the animal.

Longleat Safari Park has said one of its beloved hippopotamus will be “deeply missed” after dying at the age of 49.

Spot had lived at Longleat in Wiltshire since 1977. Fellow hippo Sonia, also 49, died in April 2023.

“Like all the animals at Longleat she was very special and loved to be outside and was often seen wallowing in the mud.” a spokesperson said.

“She was loved by her keepers and made a big impression with our visitors,” they added.

“The highlight of any trip to Longleat is the boat safari which offered the chance to glimpse Spot as she broke the surface of the water.”

On Friday, Jeremy Kyle’s wife Vicky gave birth to their sixth child, making him a father once more at the age of 58.

On Instagram, the TV host posted a photo of him cradling the baby in the delivery room with pride.

She went by Iris Rose Victoria Kyle, he disclosed, and she was doing well, according to mother Vicky.

Jeremy wrote: ‘She’s finally here… Iris Rose Victoria Kyle arrived today at 12.31pm weighing 7lb 6oz.

‘Mummy was absolutely incredible and we are just so blessed to have our beautiful new daughter.’

Jeremy revealed in September last year that he was to become a father for the sixth time as his wife Victoria was pregnant with their second child.

The crackdown on password sharing, which began in several countries in May of last year, made it difficult for members of various homes to use the same account.

It seems to be encouraging people to register their own accounts, as seen by the 13.1 million new global users the company recruited in the final three months of 2023.

Sarah Ferguson has been diagnosed with skin cancer just six months after she underwent surgery on her breast.

A spokesman for Sarah, Duchess of York said:
“Following her diagnosis with an early form of breast cancer this summer, Sarah, Duchess of York has now been diagnosed with malignant melanoma.

Her dermatologist asked that several moles were removed and analysed at the same time as the Duchess was undergoing reconstructive surgery following her mastectomy, and one of these has been identified as cancerous.
“She is undergoing further investigations to ensure that this has been caught in the early stages.

Clearly, another diagnosis so soon after treatment for breast cancer has been distressing but the Duchess remains in good spirits.

According to Sir David Jason, he would seize the opportunity to reprise his legendary role from Only Fools and Horses.

The venerable actor, 83, declared he would relish watching the beloved sitcom from the 1980s come back on TV, and he would play Derek Trotter, well known as Del Boy, once more.

Though he was enthusiastic, he acknowledged that a remake would be improbable given the untimely death in 2011 of the show’s primary writer, John Sullivan.

London Zoo is home to a highly endangered newborn gorilla, which has zookeepers “grinning from ear to ear.”

After a quick 17-minute labor, mother Mjukuu gave birth to the western lowland gorilla youngster on Wednesday morning. The infant’s name and s*x are still unknown.

Mjukuu is seen in a video holding her infant close just after giving birth.

Through CCTV cameras placed in the dens, zookeepers kept a close eye on Mjukuu’s pregnancy journey and discovered her “tenderly holding her newborn”.

The Princess of Wales has undergone abdominal surgery in London and will remain in hospital for up to two weeks, Kensington Palace announced.

In a statement, the palace said: “Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales was admitted to The London Clinic yesterday for planned abdominal surgery.

“The surgery was successful and it is expected that she will remain in hospital for 10 to 14 days, before returning home to continue her recovery.

“Based on the current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.”

Calum Best has been cleared of s*xually assaulting a British tourist at Wayne Lineker’s Ibiza beach club after appearing in court last week.

The reality TV icon and son of legendary footballer George Best was facing a prison sentence of up to three years if convicted.

He had been warned he may have to wait up to three months for the verdict following his one-day trial last Tuesday at the Audiencia Provincial Court in the Majorcan capital Palma.

But he learned today he had been cleared of any wrongdoing.

The three trial judges’ decision to acquit him is understood to have been unanimous.

As Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern made their triumphant comeback to television on Sunday night on Dancing On Ice, the audience gave her the go-ahead.

But according to reports, Holly, 42, was not allowed to see her on the ITV skating show because “he is deeply bruised by their falling out” with her former co-star Phillip Schofield, 61, from This Morning and Dancing On Ice.

Following his departure from This Morning, Phillip announced that he had an affair with a younger colleague the previous year and resigned from all of his on-screen engagements.

However, Holly, who was back after a three-month break, and Stephen, 47, were approved as the new presenters on Dancing On Ice.

According to The Sun, a source said: ‘Phil is still bruised by the whole Holly falling-out and the way it was played out publicly. He still can’t bring himself to watch This Morning and even listening to the theme tune is deeply triggering.

‘It would seem unlikely he is avidly tuning in to watch Holly’s return to TV. Phil just wants to move on and live a quiet life away from the spotlight whilst he tries to rebuild.

‘He reached out to offer his support when the awful kidnap news broke but it’s understood they have not been in contact since, so he’s probably not spoken to Holly ahead of her DOI return.’

Viewers praised Stephen for his debut performance as regular co-host alongside Holly as the 2024 series launched.
