A few years ago, Wei came back from Singapore and wanted to start an Omakase-style restaurant in Penang.

Omakase means "leave it to the chef", a practice where the chef decides the specialities of the day for his customers.

When he told his best friend, Aaron, this "crazy idea", he received full support from Aaron. The duo then started the first omakase-style restaurant in Penang, "A.Maze".
