Conditions for choosing the location of the tower crane - cranes -:
- It must be far from any power lines, whether high or ground
- It must be far from any existing or potential future excavation works
- There should be no possibility of water leaking down the crane’s foundations
- The work site must be fully visible to the crane operator without any obstructions
When choosing the installation location, you must pay attention at the same time to studying how to dismantle the tower and load it after completion of implementation before installing it
The work to be carried out and the loads to be lifted must be within reach of the crane arm, taking into account the ability of the crane arm to cover the work site and in accordance with the crane catalog and the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Choose the installation location so that it is very close to the origin and at a distance that allows it to be connected to the origin as the height increases
- Choose a place that does not obstruct the movement of other equipment on the site
- It must be taken into account the necessity of having sufficient corridors that allow it to freely rotate without obstacles for loading and unloading and for the possibility of dismantling and transporting the crane after the completion of work or in the event of maintenance if necessary.
- It is strictly prohibited to carry out any excavation work, even if the sides are supported next to the crane bases, under any circumstances
A soil loading test is carried out before installing the crane to ensure its ability to bear the loads that will fall on it, taking into account the dynamic loads resulting from the movement of the crane and the effect of the wind
