القصة :
في ليلة من ليالي أبريل في طوكيو، لا يزال الوقت مبكرًا جدًا للألعاب النارية، يلتقي الطالب الجامعي "سورانو كاكيرو" بفتاة تدعى "فويوتسوكي كوهارو".

فتاة جميلة تبرز من بين الحشد، وتضحك كثيرًا، وتنضح بدفء يتناقض بشكل حاد مع انطوائية كاكيرو، ولكن كان هناك شيء لم يستطع كاكيرو اكتشافه في البداية، أنها لا تستطيع الرؤية..

على عكس كاكيرو، لم تستسلم كوهارو لصعوبات الحياة، حتى مع فقدانها للبصر. إنها تذهب إلى الجامعة يوميًا، وتُظهر اهتمامًا بالنوادي، وتُكوّن صداقات، وتحلم بإطلاق الألعاب النارية يومًا ما. يتساءل كاكيرو عن سبب حماسها لفعل هذا وهي لا تستطيع رؤيتها حتى.. لكن ربما هذا لا يهم. وربما يمكنه ايضا البدء في المضي قدمًا، من أجل الفتاة التي كانت دائمًا بجانبه..!
