Rhythms of the Desert – Learn, Play, Create

Final Day

Yesterday was our longest and most intense day, fully dedicated to recording and capturing the energy we built throughout the workshop.

I’m truly happy with what we created together.

A big thank you to all the musicians for their commitment, talent, and spirit. This workshop was not only about music, but also about exchange, connection, and sharing cultures.

Grateful for this journey.

Desert Blues Workshop | Rhythms of the Desert – Learn, Play, Create | – Day One | 30 March

Today marks the beginning of our journey at Sahara Records – Ouarzazate, bringing together passionate musicians for an immersive experience in Desert Blues.

The first day focuses on connection, learning, and sharing:
Welcoming participants and introducing the spirit of Desert Blues
Musicians presenting themselves, their instruments, and their musical paths
Hands-on sessions in guitar, bass, drums, and percussion
Exploring Moroccan rhythms, culture, and traditional sounds
Ending the day with a powerful jam session, where everyone comes together to play, improvise, and connect through music

A day of rhythm, culture, and creativity in the heart of the desert blues.
