The Little Elephant Who Waited:
In the heart of an African savanna, a baby elephant named Toto was born on a quiet morning. His mother, Maya, wrapped her trunk around him gently, guiding him to take his first wobbly steps. The herd celebrated his arrival with trumpets that echoed across the golden plains.
Toto was playful, chasing butterflies and splashing in waterholes, but his favorite thing was walking beside his mother, feeling safe with every step. One day, while they were grazing near the river, a sudden storm rolled in. Thunder roared, and in the chaos, Toto got separated from the herd.
The rain poured for hours. Tiny and scared, Toto hid under a tree, waiting, his little heart thumping fast. He missed the warmth of his mother’s trunk, the soft hum she sang when they rested. Night fell, and the savanna grew silent, except for Toto’s quiet sobs.
But Maya never stopped searching. Guided by love, she followed his faint trumpet calls through the dark. Just before dawn, Toto heard a familiar sound — his mother’s voice. He ran as fast as his little legs could carry him and leaped into her embrace.
From that day on, Toto never wandered too far. And every time the skies grew dark, Maya would hum their special song — a promise that no matter the storm, love will always find its way back home.
