Tim McGuire, also known locally as 'Ra TIM,' is a passionate advocate for the Malagasy people. As the Founder and CEO of TourOnePlanet, he is committed to creating opportunities for local communities to determine their own outcomes of tourism. After five years of searching for a way back, he finally created his own path in 2022. It

all began with a simple but powerful question: How could foreigners spend so much on vacations while Malagasy people remained so poor? Tim’s efforts extend beyond his business. He competed in the N1A national basketball championships with GNBC and has become well-known across the island for his engaging festival interviews, spotlighting Malagasy culture, music, and stories for a global audience.

Découvrez les trésors naturels de notre territoire et leur importance pour les communautés locales.

15h00 – Creating Your Own Story
Un atelier participatif proposé par Touroneplanet pour réfléchir ensemble aux histoires racontées sur le Sud de Madagascar et à la maniÚre dont les jeunes peuvent contribuer à construire de nouveaux récits.

16h00 – Pitch Challenge : Donnez vie Ă  vos idĂ©es
Présentez vos projets devant un jury composé de partenaires du festival et tentez de remporter de nombreux prix offerts par le Festival Mandrare, Yas Madagascar et TourOnePlanet.

Un aprĂšs-midi d’échanges, d’apprentissage, de crĂ©ativitĂ© et d’opportunitĂ©s vous attend !
