"အရက်ပျံသည် သောက်စရာ အရက် မဟုတ်။ အဆိပ်ရာ ဖြစ်သည်”
ပွန်းပဲ့ဒဏ်ရာ ရလျှင် ပိုးမွှားသန့်စင် ဆီးရည်အဖြစ် သုံးသည်။ ဆီးရည် နာမည်က မီသိုင်းလင်း စပရိတ်(Methylated Spirit) ဖြစ်သည်။ အရပ်ထဲ အလွယ်ခေါ် နာမည်က ‘အရက်ပျံ’ ဖြစ်သည်။ ၎င်းကို နီးစပ်ရာ ဆီးဆိုင်တိုင်းတွင် အလွယ်တကူ ဝယ်ယူရဟိနိုင်ပါသည်။
ဆီးဆိုင်များတွင် အလွယ် တကူ ဝယ်ယူရဟိနိုင်သည့် အရက်ပျံ(Methylated spirit)သည် လူများသောက်သုံး၍ရသည့် ‘အရက်’ လုံးဝ မဟုတ်ပေ။ BPI(မြန်မာ့ဆီးဝါးထုတ်လုပ်ငန်း) က ထုတ်သည့် ၁၀၀ mL ပါအရက်ပျံ တပုလင်း၌ Ethanol က ၇၀ % နန့် Methanol က ၂% ပါဝင်ပါသည်။
သောက်လျှင် လုံးဝ(လုံးဝ) အဆိပ်အတောက် ဖြစ်လားမည်​ဖြစ်သည်။ မယ်သနော(Methanol) သည် အလွန် ပြင်းထန်သည့် အဆိပ်တမျိုး​ဖြစ်သည်။ မယ်သနော ပါသည့် ‘အရက်ပျံ’ ကို စကေတဗွေ သောက်မိရုံနန့် ချက်ချင်း ပျို့ခြင်း၊ အံ​ခြင်း၊ ဂေါင်းကိုက်ခြင်း၊ မျက်စိပြာခြင်းများကို ခံစားရမည်။ တသက်လုံး မျက်စိကန်းခြင်း၊ တသက်လုံး ဦးနှောက်ထိခိုက်မှု ရောဂါများကို ခံစားရမည်။ မယ်သနော ဆီးရည်ကို လက်ဖက်ရည်ဇွန်း ဇွန်းဝက်လောက် သောက်ရုံနန့် မျက်စိ စုံလုံးကန်း​ခြင်း၊ အသက်သီဆုံးခြင်းများကို ကြုံတွိရနိုင်ပါသည်။
ယင်းကြောင့် Methanol သည် အင်မတန် ကြောက်စရာ ကောင်းပါသည်။ အင်မတန် ပြင်းထန်သည့် အဆိပ်လည်း ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
Methanol ပါသည့် ‘အရက်ပျံ/စပရိတ်’ ဆိုသည်မာ သောက်မိလျှင် သီစီနိုင်သည့် အဆိပ်တမျိုးပင် ဖြစ်ပါသည်။

လူများ သောက်၍ရသည့် ‘အရက်’ ဆိုသည်မာ ဇာလေး။ ၎င်းသည် အယ်သနော(Ethanol) ဖြစ်သည်။ ဓာတုဖွဲ့စည်းပုံက CH3CH2OH ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ အရက်သည် သဘာဝအတိုင်း ဖြစ်ပေါ်နိုင်သည့် ဟိုက်ဒရိုကာဗွန် ကွန်ပေါင်းတခု ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ သကြားသည် တဆီး (Yeast) မာပါသည့် ဘက်တီးရီးယားပိုးများ၏ အောက်ဆီဂျင်မဲ့ အသက်ယှူလုပ်ငန်းမှ ထွက်လာခြင်း ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ၎င်းကို ‘သဘာဝအရက်’ ဟုခေါ်ပါသည်။ ပေါင်းခံနည်းနန့် ချက်သော အခါ ‘အရက်’ကို ရဟိပါသည်။ သို့​သော် စနစ်တကျ ပေါင်းခံ ချက်လုပ်ခြင်း မဟုတ်ပါက Ethanol မှ လူရို့ကို သီစီနိုင်သော အဆိပ်ဖြစ်သည့် Methanol အဖြစ် ဓာတ်ပြောင်းလားပါသည်။ မယ်သနောသည် အဆိပ်ဖြစ်၍ လူအများ သောက်၍ရသော အရက်ထဲ၊ အယ်သနောထဲ၌ စကေတဗွေပါရုံနန့် ကျန်းမာရီးကို များစွာ ထိခိုက်လားပါမည်။
နယ်ဖက်က လူများ သောက်နီသော ‘တော’ အရက်ဆိုသည်မာ စနစ်တကျ အဆင့်ဆင့် ပေါင်းခံချက်လုပ်ထားခြင်း မဟုတ်၍ အဆိပ်ဓာတ် Methanol သည် 5-12% အထိ ပါဝင်နီတတ်ပါသည်။ မီးလိုက်အရက်၊ မီးတောက်အရက်၊ မီးတိုက်သည့်အခါ ‘ဖြူတောက်တောက်’ ‘အဖြူညီးညီး’ ဖြစ်နီသည်မာ မယ်သနော များများပါနီသည်ကို ပြခြင်းဖြစ်သည်။ ၎င်းသည် အရက် ‘စစ်ခြင်း’ မဟုတ်။ အယင်သီသည့် "သီရက်အစစ်"သာ ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ သဘောက ၎င်းရို့ကို သောက်လျှင် အယင်သီပါမည်။
မယ်သနော အဆမတန်ပါသော ‘တောအရက်’ ကို သုံးလလောက် စွဲသောက်လျှင် အသည်းခြောက်ပြီး၊ ရီပျင်းဆွဲခြင်းကို ဖြစ်စီပါသည်။ နောက် သွီးအံခြင်း၊ ဝမ်းအမည်းလားခြင်း၊ အသည်းက လုံးဝ ကြွပ်ဆတ်လားပြီး ကုသ၍ မရနိုင်သည့် အနီအထားမျိုး ကြုံရမည် ဖြစ်သည်။ BE အဆီကို ဖျော်သောက်နီသည့် ဘီအီး အရက်သည်လည်း မယ်သနော ပါဝင်မှု ပိုများ၍ အသည်းခြောက်ယင်ခြင်း၊ အသီစောမည်မာ အမှန်ပင် ဖြစ်သည်။
မြန်မာပြည်က စျီးကြီးသည့် အရက်များ၌ပင် မယ်သနော ပါဝင်မှု ၁၀၀% မကင်းစင်ပါ။ ရာခိုင်နှုန်း အနည်းအများသာ ကွာပါသည်။ တခါတခါ စျီးကြီးပီးဝယ်သည့် အရက်ကို သောက်မိပြီး၊ ဂေါင်းကိုက်နီယာ ဆိုလျှင် မယ်သနော ပါဝင်မှု ပိုများသည့် အရက်ကို သောက်မိသည့်သဘော ဖြစ်သည်။ Methanol ခန္ဓာကိုယ်ထဲ တကြိမ်ဝင်ရောက်လာလျှင် ခန္ဓာကိုယ်က အလုံးစုံ ဖယ်ယှားရန် အချိန် ၉ လ လိုအပ်ပါသည်။
ယေဇူးနန့် မယ်သနောဓာတ်ပါဝင်မှု မြင့်မားသည့် ‘တောအရက်’ ‘ဘီအီး’ ရို့ကိုသာ နိတိုင်းသောက်သုံးသူများသည် အသီစောခြင်း၊ အသီယင်ခြင်းမာ ဆန်းကား မဆန်း ဟုဆိုချင်ပါသည်။
ယင်းအထဲမာမှ လူများအတွက် အဆိပ်ဖြစ်သည့်၊ လုံးဝ(လုံးဝ) မသောက်သုံးသင့်သည့် ‘အရက်ပျံ’ ကို သောက်မိလျှင် ‘သီသည်ကိုပင် သိလိုက်မည်မဟုတ်’ ဟု ဆိုချင်ပါသည်။

စိတ်ဝင်စားကေ ၂၂ ရက် Jun ထိ လျှောက်လို့ရသိပါရေ။

၂၀၂၅-၂၆ ခုနှစ်၊ Direct Aid Program (DAP) အတွက် Expressions of Interest များကိုခေါ်ယူလျက်ရှိကြောင်း အသိပေးပါတယ်။ ပိတ်ရက်ကတော့ ဇွန်လ ၂၂ ရက်နေ့ (တနင်္ဂနွေနေ့) ပါ။

- Youth empowerment and sport;
- Cultural heritage and the creative economy စတဲ့ နယ်ပယ်တွေအတွက် Expressions of Interest များလျှောက်ထားနိုင်ပါတယ်။

သြစတြေးလျသံရုံးရဲ့ အသေးစားငွေကြေးထောက်ပံ့တဲ့ DAP အစီအစဉ်အောက်ရှိပရောဂျက်တွေဟာ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံရှိ မြန်မာပြည်သူများကို ကူညီပံ့ပိုးပေးရန်ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ မြန်မာပြည်တွင်းရှိပြည်သူများအတွက်အထောက်အကူပြုလုပ်ငန်းတွေဆောင်ရွက်နေတဲ့ပြည်ပအခြေပြုအဖွဲ့အစည်းများကိုလည်း ထည့်သွင်းစဉ်းစားပေးမှာဖြစ်ပေမယ့် မြန်မာပြည်တွင်းရှိအဖွဲ့အစည်းများမှလုပ်ဆောင်မယ့်ပရောဂျက်တွေကို ပိုမိုဦးစားပေးမှာပါ။ ပရောဂျက်များဟာ အထက်မှာဖော်ပြထားတဲ့နယ်ပယ်တွေထဲက အနည်းဆုံးတစ်ခုနဲ့ကိုက်ညီရမှာဖြစ်ပြီး မြန်မာနိုင်ငံရှိဒေသတစ်ခု သို့မဟုတ် တစ်ခုထက်ပိုတဲ့ဒေသတွေမှာ လုပ်ဆောင်နိုင်ပါတယ်။

A reminder that the Embassy is calling for Expressions of Interest for the 2025-26 Direct Aid Program (DAP), with a closing date of Sunday 22 June.

We are inviting Expressions of Interest for projects in the areas of
• youth empowerment and sport; and
• cultural heritage and the creative economy.

Projects funded under the Australian Embassy in Myanmar’s DAP small grants program need to support Myanmar people in Myanmar. Preference will be given to projects delivered by organisations within Myanmar, although organisations based outside of Myanmar but conducting activities to support people within Myanmar will also be considered. Projects must address at least one of the focus areas and can be delivered in one or multiple locations in Myanmar.
