A delicious and easy Ramadan recipe❣️ Daal ghosht for breakfast was always a family tradition. Now that I live alone, cooking my late grandma’s recipes makes me feel close to home 🥹 When it tastes like how she made it, I feel like she’s proud of me. I just wish she was here so I could cook for her.

✨ Hello & welcome to Brit’s Kitchen! ✨

This little space is my haven of flavors, stories, and comfort. Cooking has always been more than just food for me, it’s my way of reconnecting with home, especially while living alone here in the UK. Whenever homesickness creeps in, I find healing in the kitchen. It has also slowly become my love language💛

Here, you’ll find a mix of home-cooked Burmese and Asian dishes, along with sweet bakes and recipes I’ve gathered along my journey. Some are inspired by the meals I grew up with, others are experiments I’ve fallen in love with along the way, but all come from the heart.

My hope is to share that same warmth, comfort, and joy with you through every plate. I want Brit’s Kitchen to feel like a cozy corner where food tells a story and brings us closer together.
