PLAY IS HIRING: Accountant
📍 Yangon | Full-time
We’re a video production company looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to handle our finance, admin, and payroll support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare, track, and follow up on invoices and vendor payments
Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping, cash flow, and payroll
Prepare and file monthly/annual tax returns (Corporate Income Tax, Commercial Tax, PIT, SSB)
Keep accurate tax records and ensure compliance with regulations
Organize office and HR records, petty cash, and purchases
Support office and HR administration
REQUIREMENTS:
1–3 years’ experience in accounting, office admin, or HR support
Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and basic accounting tools
Organized, reliable, and discreet with sensitive information
Knowledge of Myanmar tax procedures, DICA-related filing and payroll standards
Experience/interest working in the media/creative industry is a plus
