The Public Security Police Force (PSP) has uncovered a suspected sham marriage involving a local woman and a mainland man, allegedly arranged by a local woman in her 70s. Police said the suspect received RMB65,000 to help the man obtain a Macau ID card. The pair, both in their 40s, allegedly married in the mainland in 2016 but never lived together. The PSP believes all three committed offenses and has referred the case to the Public Prosecutions Office.
