Wedding Video Styles:

As a wedding videographer, I want to give you a quick explanation of the main wedding video styles:

Cinematic:
Artistic, film-like footage with dramatic lighting, creative angles, and color grading. Often includes slow-motion shots and is edited to music for an emotional, movie-like feel.

Documentary/Journalistic:
Focuses on authentically capturing the day's events chronologically with minimal interference. Emphasizes natural moments and includes more dialogue and ambient sound.

Traditional:
Classic coverage of the ceremony and key reception moments with straightforward editing. Usually longer format, less stylized than cinematic.

Highlight Films:
Short (3-10 minute) videos that capture the day's essence, set to music with minimal dialogue. Perfect for social media sharing.

Storytelling:
Weaves a narrative through the video, often incorporating couple interviews, letters, or vows as voiceovers. Focuses on telling your unique love story.

Aerial:
Incorporates drone footage for dramatic establishing shots of the venue and sweeping romantic scenes.
