One year on and the effect of the inaugural edition of Medezfest continues to impact lives of children and youth across the globe. Around 2,500 film submissions from across the globe kickstarted this festival last year and it promises to continue its work even this year.

Watch Ruby Davies officially receive her award from her school Headmistress at Swiss Valley Primary School in Wales! Ruby was one of our two Overall Festival Winners of last year. After a very busy scholastic year, the school managed to find the opportunity to make this formal presentation and send the video over, for us to share !

This year's Notification Date on FilmFreeway has just been extended. Our judges are busy selecting films. We are also replying to some queries that we have recently received and updates about the event soon to be shared :-)

Our Medezfest Overall Winner 2024 of Il-Bumerin Dehbi (The Golden Mediterranean Monk Seal Statuette) - Ruby Davies gets a special visit at her school - Swiss Valley Primary School.

HRH, William, The Prince of Wales (Tywysog Cymru) visited the school. The event, which included Ruby Davies winning piece: Shopping (Siopa), was featured on the the official Instagram account of The Prince and Princess of Wales ! Go Ruby ! :-)
