DJ JJoy has helped raise €2,000 for charity after performing at St Thomas More College earlier this week.

Sharing the story on social media, JJoy explained that when he was invited to play at the college and asked about his fee, he chose to perform for free and instead encouraged students to raise money for charity.

The students managed to collect €1,500, with JJoy adding a personal donation to bring the total amount raised to €2,000.

The full amount will be donated to L-Istrina on Boxing Day.

The initiative was praised online as a positive example of how music, generosity, and community spirit can come together to support a good cause.
