Equipped with a canoe, 35mm camera and rolls of black and white film, Inigo Taylor Photography documented a stretch of Gozo’s grand sea cliffs from land and sea for his upcoming book, Bastion - a name that references the vertical nature of the cliffs as a wild frontier on the Maltese islands. “At the edge of the cliff, you can feel free, and under it you can feel utterly in awe at the millions upon millions of years that made those immense limestone walls.” Read more 👇

Artist Francesca Balzan delves into the inspiration, message and medium of her latest solo exhibition Incunabula 1474-2025, on display at the National Library in Valletta from this Friday 14th November. Featuring 3D printed porcelain sculptures altered by her hands, the work was inspired by the earliest books printed in Europe that form part of the Library’s collection, and questions whether 3D printing today will have the same impact that printing had in 15th century Europe.
