⚓️🌊 The calm before the storm!
I love gigs like that because I was a sailor for many years and there is a special kind of vibe that feels like home to me.
Yachting life can be tough but I truly loved being at sea when I was younger.
I crossed the Atlantic three times, all on private boats smaller than 55 meters. I went up the Pacific, stopped in many South American countries, crossed the Panama Canal, sailed through the Mediterranean and stopped in many European countries, visited most Caribbean islands more than once, went to Egypt and even Djibouti, and reached the Maldives and Mauritius through the Suez Canal.
So many islands, so many countries, I honestly lost count, those I mentioned are just a few of them.
And now being a DJ on boats feels special in a different way. It reminds me of the sea life that I used to have but this time feels freer, lighter and it’s amazing to still be out at sea doing something that I truly love.
PS: Since this was a private party, I never show the faces of my clients out of respect for their privacy. I just wanted to share a little bit of the vibe and my story without revealing anyone’s identity, the reason why we recorded the video while the guests were upstairs.
