Ryanair has announced its winter schedule for Malta, with 57 routes - including six new ones to Glasgow, Gothenburg, Luxembourg, Norwich, Newcastle and Palma.
There will also be increased frequencies on 20 other routes, including Milan, Porto, Bucharest and London.
To deliver this growth, Ryanair will add a ninth based B737 “Gamechanger” aircraft in Malta from November. They said it will $100m investment and create 30 jobs for pilots and cabin crew.

“This increased route schedule will grow Ryanair’s Malta traffic to over 5.2m pax in 2025 (+15%), and 9 based aircraft represents an investment of over $1 billion on the island,” the airline said.
“This growth will support over 4,300 local jobs, including 30 new highly paid pilot and cabin crew jobs. Ryanair continues to reinforce its long-term commitment to Malta, with recent investments in a state-of-the-art hangar maintenance facility and the doubling of Malta Air’s new 700 sqm Head Office in Pieta.”
