🕉️ Protect the Sanctity of Ganga Snaan – 5th November 2025

This Kartik Purnima, Hindus across Mauritius will gather for the sacred Ganga Snaan — a day when Maa Ganga descended from the heavens to purify Earth and liberate souls. It is a time for prarthana, daan, and inner cleansing — not distraction.

In recent years, many have turned this holy day into a marketplace, forgetting that Ganga Snaan is not a mela for profit, but a spiritual yajna for purification. Let us remember — when we go for snan, we go to seek moksha, not material gain.

⚠️ Let us not let the sacred day turn into bazaars shopping!

Keep your focus on Bhagwan, not merchants.

Keep your heart on Ganga Maa, not the goods.

Light your lamps, offer your prayers, guide your children — and remind every Hindu around you why our ancestors fought to preserve these holy observances.

🌸 “Jahan Ganga vahaan shuddhi, jahan bhakti vahaan mukti.”
Where there is Ganga, there is purity — where there is devotion, there is liberation.

Look closely — this is being sold as a doormat!

How far have we fallen as a society?

I was shocked yesterday to see a doormat with the image of Bhagwan Gautam Buddha being sold openly in a well-known store in Mauritius 🇲🇺!!!
The same Enlightened One who taught compassion and peace — now placed at our feet to be trampled upon?

This isn’t “just a product.” It’s deep spiritual disrespect — not only to followers of Buddha Dharma but also to Sanatan Dharma, which honours all divine manifestations of wisdom.

🕉️ Gautam Buddha is revered as an avatar of Bhagwan Vishnu — the very embodiment of enlightenment.
Putting his image on a doormat is not creativity — it’s ignorance dressed as commerce.

Let’s raise awareness and remind everyone that faith is not decoration. It’s sacred.

This sacred night is not mere celebration — it is mentioned in the Skanda Purana, Padma Purana, and Vishnu Purana as the night when Maa Lakshmi emerged from the Kshirsagar (cosmic ocean) and blesses every home that remains pure, bright, and awake.

Here are divine acts (Totkas) rooted in our scriptures to invite Her eternal blessings of Dhan (wealth), Dhanya (prosperity), and Saubhagya (fortune):

🌸 1. Lighting 11 Diyas (Deep Dan)
Scriptural root: Mentioned in the Padma Purana and Skanda Purana — lighting lamps on Amavasya pleases both Lakshmi and Yama.
🪔 Light 11 diyas with ghee — at your mandir, entrance, Tulsi, locker, kitchen, and house corners. This removes darkness from the path of Dharma and invites positive Shakti.

🌺 2. Offering Lotus & Sweets to Mahalakshmi
Scriptural root: In the Lakshmi Ta**ra, the Goddess is described as “Padmāsanā Padmavarnā,” seated on a lotus.
Offer lotus flowers and sweet kheer or laddoos — it symbolizes purity amidst worldly attachments.

💰 3. Silver Coin with Rice & Betel Leaf
Scriptural root: The Garuda Purana speaks of rice (akshata) and silver as pure conductors of sattvic energy used in Lakshmi Pujan.
Place the coin on a betel leaf with rice, haldi, and kumkum, chanting “Om Shreem Mahalakshmyai Namah” 108 times. Keep the coin in your locker or wallet afterward.

🪙 4. Kuber Invocation
Scriptural root: The Vishnu Dharmottara Purana glorifies Kuber as “Dhanadhipati” — the Lord of Wealth.
Worship your Kuber Yantra or image by chanting “Om Yakshaya Kuberaya Vaishravanaya Namah” 21 times for new income sources and stability.

🐄 5. Gau Seva (Service to Cows)
Scriptural root: The Brahma Vaivarta Purana says: “Lakshmi always resides where the cow is honoured.”
Feed cows with jaggery or rice mixed with ghee — this simple act pleases both Lakshmi and Vishnu.

✨ 6. Midnight Meditation — The Arrival Hour
Scriptural root: As per Lakshmi Ta**ra, the most auspicious time for Mahalakshmi’s descent is the deep night of Amavasya.
Between 11:45 PM – 12:15 AM, sit silently before your diya, visualize golden light filling your home, and invite the Goddess with your heart’s wish.

Let this Divali not just illuminate your house, but your consciousness — may Maa Mahalakshmi and Shri Vishnu bless your home with purity, peace, and prosperity. 🙏

20/10/2025

On this sacred night of lights, let us not just illuminate our homes — but our hearts. 🌸

As Bhagwan Shree Ram returned to Ayodhya and the lamps were lit to welcome Dharma back, may we too invite Satya (truth), Shanti (peace), and Shuddh Bhakti (pure devotion) into our lives.

Tonight, when you light your Deep, remember — each flame is a call to Maa Lakshmi to bless your home with Aishwarya (prosperity) and to Shree Vishnu to protect that wealth with Dharma and Wisdom.

Cleanse your home, chant the divine names, offer gratitude, and let your heart glow brighter than a thousand diyas.

Shub Deepavali 🙏 🚩
